Re: Recommend TV Shows to binge watch while you Shelter-in-Place

A few more bingeable Netflix branded series to consider would Longmire, Designated Survivor, Narcos, and Narcos Mexico. There are also a few great Netflix branded movies, including Highwaymen, The Irishman, and El Camino (if you haven't watched Breaking Bad, Netflix also has the entire series and y...

Re: Rivers Edge Cutlery Mystery Exclusive (DLC 10V/Coyote Brown G10 Paramilitary 2)

Well hope they ordered enough to satisfy buying pressure otherwise I will take another seller off of my buying list. Do you know what the minimum order is for an exclusive? Do you have any idea what wholesale is on a Spyderco like a PM2? Dealers take a huge risk tying up thousands of dollars in inv...

Re: I don’t always carry a Back Lock...

Back locks are the most comfortable knives for me to use, with the smooth top surface devoid of the annoying cutout like the comp lock. Easy to unlock, works left or right handed, plenty strong for most every use. That said, I don't overlook knives based on the lock alone like I used to in the past....

Re: Spyderco Cleaning Mat?

I'm pleased with mine and I don't think Spyderco has anything to worry about as it is a quality item, IMO. The price will be higher than the thinner silk screened "mouse pad" style mats as this required molds to be made for production. Those molds are not inexpensive. Shipping was fast to me, no com...

Re: Rivers Edge Cutlery Mystery Exclusive (DLC 10V/Coyote Brown G10 Paramilitary 2)

If one of the knife-related forum personalities do not anoint it with precious holy hype oil, it will not fly off the shelves. That said, I'm in for one in DLC.

As to color of the scales, if you choose black scales, you are doing it wrong. :D ;)

Re: SRS-15 / SRS-13 ?

Would there be enough to go around like ZDP-189 models, or more super limited numbers that will keep the flipper bots busy? If it’s the former, I’m in. If it’s the latter, then nah.

Re: Manix 2 rex45 g10 model

I’m still looking for one of these. Are they sold out everywhere now? I have pretty much the worst timing on trying to get one of these - to the point that I've mostly given up on this model. I'm always a few minutes late... Soonerstateknives still shows in stock. They are out of stock. Gone to fli...

Re: Buy a blurple PM2 now, or wait for the 2020 releases?

I have a chance to buy a brand new, in box PM2 blurple s110v for about $250 cad/190 usd. I really want this knife, had it in my hand today. But I’d feel slighted if a better value version came out soon. Any thoughts? I’d err on the side of waiting if I were you. $190US is a lot of money for somethi...

Re: Crazy Good Deals Part 2!!

Not any deals, but I just noticed that Sharp Dressed Knives has a lot of scales available now that the last time I checked were out of stock. A few really tempting me for the Smock and Para 3...wish I didn't look! :p It’s a deal compared to a “flipped” Crucarta Shaman on the ‘bay! Thanks, one Shama...

Re: Knife too thin

I’ve broken several utility knife blades over the years and a paring knife once. The paring knife was a cheap freebie that was likely poorly heat treated because it never subjected to heavy use. While I feel that most knives are anywhere from moderately to grossly overbuilt, I think it might be a wo...

Re: Production Cruwear? (or other tool steel)

It is a no brainer. The Shaman should have come in Cruwear to begin with. Many of us said that but it didn’t happen. It rolled out in S30V with lots of griping about price. Since then the sprints have sold like hot cakes. Go figure. Probably wouldn’t have hurt to debut the Chief in Cruwear either. ...
