Re: Why I don't like Spyderco wire clip connection

I love the wire clips. I've bent, broke, and rolled/folded them to the side before (both wires rotating in the mount), but they've never come out. I find them less prone to breaking than many other clips.

Funds tied up with the pre-orders for GB2, KW PM2 M4 CF, and Mantra2 (M4 is fun too right? ). Love the burnt orange though! (Endura if it happens for me.)

Re: Best websites for uploading pics?

I've always used Photobucket but I also like Flickr. Lately the Photobucket app has been a pain to use so I've been using Flickr more often. I think Photobucket is easier if your goal is to link pics on forums. They auto generate the img tag links for you which I really like when I'm on my phone. T...

Re: Mantra or Mantra 2?

Probably Mantra 2, just because I need more slim Spydies... Positron is in the mail. Though I do prefer the look and thumb ramp of the Mantra. HMMMM. I really like that they are making both.

Re: Your Spyderco Christmas EDC

Another vote for the Chaparral

I packed a couple, but I think the Chap is going to make the most appearances being a perfectly small classy gift opener. Wish Santa shipped my GB2, Cameron's pic makes me want to cry :'(

Re: Need help on a new slim EDC - no lockbacks

As said by others here, the Bradley Air. Leaving aside cost, it meets your requirements (and with an easy-to-clean enclosure and a sweet-spot steel). Not sure, however, if one can be had at less than a C-Note, but the thing even at MSRP is one fine slicer. Mass drop right now is doing a group buy a...

Re: Just got my Manix 2 S110V but not happy.

Love that knife, but mine took a while to break in as well. I can now do it by pulling only one side with my thumb, but rarely do now that I'm used to pulling both sides. I agree that the spring could probably be lighter and give a more pleasurable impression without sacrificing lockup.

Re: Need help on a new slim EDC - no lockbacks

if you're willing to reconsider a lockback, the Chaparral CF is a perfect slimmed down version of the Sage imo. Love that lil knife - way more cutting ability than you'd imagine in that lil package, and thin blade stock makes it a light saber slicing-wise. ^^ This. Not only is this knife perfection...
