A straight razor would not appeal to me personally but it is an interesting idea.
What I would really like to see is a C36 Military with a full flat ground, plain edge, Sheepfoot blade in say Cru-Wear.
That is something that I would be very interested in.
I would like to thank vlawson and everyone who responded to this topic. I have been attracted to the Chaparral myself and after reading all your good comments I decided I "need" a Chaparral of my own. The sharpening is of no concern, it is just a matter of choosing one of the 4 options. Thanks every...
Welcome, hope you enjoy your stay... :) :spyder: :) Military is a Spyderco icon and hands down a great choice as a frontline user...so it's evident you've got great judgment! Looks like you have your large-ish folder slot filled...what are you thinking will be your next acquisition? :confuse...
Hola El Gato, Welcome to our forum and thanx much for the interest and support. sal Thank you kindly sir. 'Tis an honor to be here. It has been awhile since we last visited some 25 years ago at the Oregon Knife Show. I hope we can chat again sometime. Thank you for the kind personal welcome. :) :sp...
Cody by all means get yourself a Millie. I edc mine every waking moment of each and every day and it rides comfortably in my right front jeans pocket. If for some reason you find it too big for a front pocket it rides equally well in a hip pocket and you never know it's there. I am likely biased tow...
Thank you all for the warm welcome, it's good to be here at last.
The Millies just fit my outdoor lifestyle and it's fun to experience the different blade steels in the same knife vehicle.
But no matter which model one chooses you can't go wrong with a Spydie.
First of all, welcome to the Forum. Glad to have you here.
I am not that familia with the Delica, nor have I any experience with after market scales, but I am sure you will get lots of help here.
Thanks Dan. I "think" that's about what I did, but it was total luck !! I am going to write down all of this good information and save it for future use. I am sure it gets easier the more one works with it. But I think I have just about "learned" enough for one day !! :D Thanks so much for all the h...
http://i1382.photobucket.com/albums/ah274/davebear2/012_zpsis1e9eb1.jpg I think I lucked into it!! Now if I can only remember how I did that......... Okay, this is my "squad" of Millies. As you can see, from top clockwise, Fluted Titanium, Blue G-10 S90V from BBS, Plain Titanium (my edc), Bla...
Thanks. I need all the help I can get.
I am trying to get a picture from Photo Bucket now, but can't quite figure out how to get it from there to here.
At least I got a picture uploaded to Photo Bucket.........which is a pretty good start for me!!
Thank you all so very much. You do truly make me feel welcome here.
I am going to need some help on posting pictures so any advice will be appreciated. I am "technologically challenged" when it comes to anything computer related so the pictures will be a new experience.
Thanks in advance.
Being a guest on this Forum for quite some time I thought perhaps the occasion of Halloween would be a good time to stop being a ghost here and become a member. I have been a Spyderco fan and user for many years and I sincerely appreciate Sal and the Spyderco Crew for all they do. I admit to being a...
