Re: What do I do now?

I can sure understand the disappointment. Don't blame you for being bummed about it as it would be frustrating to me.
All the more reason to contact Charlynn at SCS and let her work her magic. ;)

Re: What do I do now?

I would recommend contacting Spyderco Customer Service again and explain your feelings about the problem and that it still exists. By all means give them a chance to make things right with you. They are good folks and truly want to correct any problems you have with the knife. It is always best to a...

Re: $150 to spend on a new EDC spydie...

For what I see as a Medium size edc I like my Sage for a nice all around knife. It does everything I need it to do and carries well.

Just placed the order for a Chaparral in carbon fiber. Thanks to folks here on the Forum for convincing me I "needed" one. :) :spyder:

Re: Afraid to get the Chaparral...

My Chaparral lives in my pocket all week, clipless. GB on the weekends, Manix2 S110v LW on the trail. The Sharpmaker and a little patience can handle all of those "super" steels no problem. In many pictures the Sage 1 looks to be a very similar size, but its TWICE the knife in hand. I find it a lit...

The C36 Military with a full flat ground plain edge Sheepfoot blade in Cru-Wear.
Just for a different but very useable blade option in an already great knife model. :)

Thanks Kristi.
I understand the MAP policy is not unique to Spyderco but may very well be a coming trend in the industry.
Thanks for letting us know. :) :spyder:

Re: The sharpest steel with the least time and effort?

Hi pm1, vg10, H1 and BD1 all fit the bill for that. I could only vote for one so I chose vg10 since I believe it has the best edge retention of the three. Honestly though if you have a good clean 30 degree bevel and do regular light touchups (at 40 degrees), any of those steels are fairly easy to m...

Re: Anybody besides me interested in a small shirt pocket clipit knife?

Sounds pretty cool to me I would definitely be interested. I think this is a good idea. I too would be interested. Having no "small" knives at the moment I had been considering the Dragonfly for a shirt pocket knife to ride with my tac-pen and small AAA flashlight. One can do a lot with a small bla...

Re: Southfork or Sprig or both?

Sole use would be food prep indoors...no camping trips just cutting boards at home. Kitchen show off blade so to speak. Or just a silly idea of mine? My kitchen knives are Shun and J.A. Henckels. Just wanted something a little different. Not a silly idea at all. Just today I was kinda laughing at m...

Re: PM2 in s30v vs s110v, same price which one?

I sure can't find any fault with s30v having used it for a long time now in my Military, and more recently I have become a fan of Cru-Wear also in my Military. I enjoy sharpening and keeping my knives at their cutting best but there are times when I spend several days afield without having a means o...

Re: Greetings from South Florida everyone! My name is Bonnie

This has all been very sad. I am new here too after being a "guest" for many months and I have enjoyed it here thus far as a registered member. However I know I will never make as many posts as some have and therefore perhaps will never be considered as one of the group here. As much as I had hoped ...

Re: Spyderco Outdoors!

For what it's worth, my brother who lives in northern British Columbia prefers his Titanium Military for big game processing. He has several hunting knives but tells me his Military is his choice of an edc for his hunting. He takes two or three moose and as many deer each season as his family buys n...

I am sorry and surprised to see the Band 1 bandana go. I have one and edc it. They are a great accessory.
I had planned to get a couple more but I see they are listed as Out Of Stock in the SFO.
Bummer for sure. :(
