Re: Christmas is almost here and...

Oh absolutely guilty as charged. :o I've been "good" all year.............well okay, I didn't get caught doing nothing bad. :p So I am going to reward myself with the :spyder: Blue Stepped Titanium Chaparral I've been wanting for a long time. Of course I was stone broke, and as much as I surfed the ...

Prices Friends and Free Stuff

I hope this doesn't turn into a personal ramble, but if it gets too long I guess you're free not to read it. :D Lot of very good and interesting discussions going on recently regarding prices, value, affordability, and MAP. A lot of good folks making a lot of good points. Like all of us, I love my S...

Re: Are Spyderco prices getting out of your reach?

I am not worried about anything the future holds with Spyderco. There are plenty of different spydies to appeal to plenty of different users. MAP isn't going to scare me off. I am forever hooked on these knives. No other knife company will do. Just my opinion. Pricing, MAP, etc., etc. personally do...

Re: taichung

I am very impressed by the quality of the two Taichung folders that I have. I have a Sage 2 that I edc regularly, and I recently received a CF Chaparral. I am so favorably impressed with the Chap that I just placed the order for the Blue Stepped Titanium version. The Spyderco Taichung made knives ha...

Re: I only have a few knives, but I'm happy. Am I crazy?

I have two Delica 4s, one Dragonfly 2, one PM2 (temporarily), an original Buck Ranger since about 1975 and that's it. I always carry a Delica, and sometimes also the Dragonfly. I'm saying 'adios' to the PM2 and if I should "need" a larger folder, I'll get a Tenacious. The old Buck Ranger is part of...

Bye Bye

One day said my dear little wife,
now it's either me or that knife! :spyder:
I drove her plumb silly
thumb-flickin' my Millie.
And now she is gone from my life......

Re: What do I do now?

Well at least you tried and that's important.
Perhaps more important is the fact that you got it resolved yourself and probably learned a bit in the process. I say, "Good for you."
All's well that ends well. ;)

Enough Already!!

A man liked to torment his wife,
by thumb-flicking his Spyderco knife. :spyder:
She finally got sick,
of the repeated "click".
And violently ended his life.

Re: Upcoming 2016 Pre Orders at KC

I just noticed the Salt Snap-it's. Pretty cool if those are really coming :) Super cool and I will obviously need more than one! I am definitely curious about how they will be positioning the carabiner though. I LOVE the idea but the old design with the carabiner next to the exposed blad...

Re: Spyderco Consumer Announcement

+1. We'll said. I suppose this is essentially what I had in mind when I posted my initial response indicating support to this change. If you think about it, Sal has built a very successful company based on integrity and honesty and with the consumer in mind. I find it very doubtful that the change t...

Re: What do I do now?

While I can't speak for the Domino, never having examined one, my Titanium frame lock Military has a unique stainless steel insert firmly held in place by two screws attaching it to the locking bar and also milled into the titanium lock bar itself. I find it a nice improvement over the CRK Sebenza. ...
