That's great, doc. I'm wondering if the value has shifted toward American-made. Sure hope so. :)

Got a Manix 2XL

I haven't been buying many knives, but recently, I decided that I deserved a treat. :) So, off to the local to see what Spydies were in stock. Tempted by the Para 2. Seriously considered the Ayoob. Pondered the Caly 3.5 Super Blue, but was discouraged by the corrosion (:eek :) . Started to pass over...

Driving the boat... That sounds silly.

Piloting the boat?

Navigating the boat. That's better.
In this case, the guy was driving ... badly.

I carry a Delica D4 IWB, left front side. I find it carries easily in that position.

Yeah, so, it allows the user to "choke up" on the blade and do finer work. The choil adds to the versatility of the Superleaf.

I really enjoyed Harry Morgan's portrayal of Colonel Sherman Potter in M*A*S*H . Finally, someone (as the character Harry portrayed) who was a true veteran and a POW with true experience of war and hard times (WWI and WWII), hard edged (when needed), decisive (lacking amongst the other featured mem...

After seeing him in Dragnet, it was great to see him do comedy on MASH.

I have a couple of knives in D2 (806D2 and 710D2). For me, it seems OK, but my experience is that I get a better edge in VG10 or S30V.

Blessings and thanks to all. I'm grateful for my many, many blessings - which include family, meaningful work, community, and nation.

I'll specifically note that I'm grateful that the 1st Amendment allows both "tea baggers" and "occupiers" to peacefully assemble and express their concerns.

The full tang does have some advantages, but the model as made works very well and is lighter. We have had some requests to bring the model back in all black for the military. We working on that now. We'll be redesigning and retooling the sheath as well. sal That sounds great. I like the original v...

I have both and I much prefer the Superleaf. The compression lock is one of my very favorites. The blade is a whole lot of FFG goodness. The handle is very comfortable in my hand. The Superleaf is indeed Super!
