Re: New Delica Problems

Atleast it did not make its way into the hands of a fresh new Spyderco owner or someone looking to just try the brand for the first time. Those impressions may have dug deeper into their memory and left a bad taste, compared to those of us who know the typical level of high quality.

Could be and should be!

Just take a look at how many threads and how many mentions there are across the forums all relating just to Aogami Super Blue. :spyder:

Re: UPDATED: 2015 Forum Knife Model Poll - RUNOFF VOTE ENDS

Ah man... none of my picks have a chance.

Superleaf or Hawk would have been oh so slick since they would have had more possibility of Super Blue Sprint!!!!

Even if Caly 3.5 wins it has already been done in Super Blue...

Re: UKPK Bit Me

This is why I don't own a UKPN, or any non locking folders. I like my fingers (I still end up cutting myself though). Not like you can't cut yourself with any blade out there, fixed, locking, slip joint, etc. Use a blade and you're bound to get a cut here or there. What's even worse is having a bla...

I could see linerless becoming the norm as 3D printing technology progresses and becoming cheaper and more readily available for lower production costs, yet stronger materials used...

Dumb question here, but are blades interchangeable between and older hollow ground G10 Manix 2 and Manix 2 LW?

Re: S30V Techno? Spyderco has some explaining to do.

I spoke to someone at Spyderco and they said that a batch of Technos went out in S30V "by mistake," and that S30V models will not be replacing the CTS-XHP ones and will not be available for sale. If true, that's a very weird mistake, but it certainly helps to exonerate Spyderco in this case, insofa...

Re: Spyderco perfection has a big window

My window is wide open as well, and also enjoys a variety of scenery to look at through it! I like changing it up, but my typicals are Delica and Caly 3, but have recently been seeing a Yojimbo 2 peeking through, as well as my Stretch for days I want more blade, and Lava or Dragonfly SB for days I w...

Re: Where to source Torx countersunk hardware?

Well, I just spoke with a kind lady at Spyderco and gave her my request for just the 2 Torx screws I needed for a black Salsa (she called them "Body screws"), gave her my address, and she said she would try to track some down and mail them out! If they didn't have any left than she would give me a c...

Yeah that does look good for being 5 years old. Looks like it wore well. Makes me wonder what some nice micarta scales might look like on a Dragonfly!

Re: Where to source Torx countersunk hardware?

Well just took a quick browse through those two sites you mentioned. Seems that all their measurements are in inches... I would have guessed the Torx hardware would have been metric since all of the Torx I've dealt with in the past has been in other applications. So, my 4mm measurement on those scre...

A lot of solid thread bumps going on here recently! Love my Stretch SB. It's actually in my pocket today as I type.
Just installed a Casey Lynch deep carry clip on it so it would sit lower in my back pocket.
