Re: Spyderco ARK Proto

Thank you Sal for the back story on the ARK. I seem to remember reading that before. I think this knife will find acceptance beyond it's targeted market.

Re: Spyderco ARK Proto

As a fan of small fixed blades and neck knives, I see a lot of utility potential in this one. While I would prefer VG-10, I can see the logic in H-1 for this one's intended use. It also makes sense since it would/could be carried concealed under clothing and next to skin where sweat could cause corr...

Re: Amsterdam Meet 2015 report of upcoming Spyderco prototypes

That's the pic in question. It's kind of hard to be sure since part on the handle is covered, and of course everyone's hands are different and grips vary.

Big fan of neck knives here. Does the ARK have a full 3-finger grip?

Re: Easiest/Safest to open and close one handed (lefty)

I am primarily right handed and find the Dragonfly relatively easy to manipulate with my left hand.
I would imagine it will take your friend some time to develop some dexterity with his left hand. I have seen this type of injury overcome before.

Re: USN exclusive Lady Bug Hawkbill in toxic green/TiCN

Its a shame about the satanic goat head on such a cute little knife. Id have to exorcise it if i ever got one. Not sure when goats became satanic. Goats are pretty cute in their own right. http://38.media.tumblr.com/1ffb5c05b61157e99e9f570269250b7a/tumblr_mhr6f0JpGs1qzizmho1_1280.jpg Why did you ha...

Re: Smaller knives.Just can't warm up to them.

I'll be the odd man out here... I prefer smaller knives. I have more control with them. I also like something that carries well in the bottom of my pocket as I'm not a big fan of pocket clips. The Dragonfly is a perfect size. It gives me a 4-finger grip and a blade that just plain works for me. Ther...

I can only say good things about VG-10, and N690Co is no slouch either.

Re: Spyderco ear-rings?

No piercings here, ear or otherwise  , but I think it's a great idea. I picked up a couple of the Bug pins and they would make a nice enough base for an ear ring for those who are inclined. :spyder:  My personal Spyder jewelry consists of the Bug pins and a Honey Bee on a neck (ball) chai...
