Curious how bad it is. Sounds like black is your best option.

Re: Sharpmaker question

Re: Compression Lock possible improvement

You could also just put a rubberband around it. A big one like the ones that comes on broccoli. The detents on my Para2's all feel good and I do not worry about it much but I can say that I have dropped one of mine (my well used S30V Camo model) many times and if it hits a hard surface it does usual...

Re: Compression Lock possible improvement

There are other ways to lock a knife closed that are not permanent like one would be if it was part of the knife's lock. If it is built into the knife's lock you have to deal with it all of the time. If it is separate from the lock you could engage it when running or surfing but leave it unlocked fo...

Re: Compression Lock possible improvement

It does not have to lock the blade closed but that could be beneficial if you wanted to design an automatic knife with a compression lock. Automatics often have button locks because they lock the blade both open and closed. However, not all button locks lock the blade closed because not all button l...

Re: Compression Lock possible improvement

This would function similar to a button lock. There are button locks that are not automatics and they retain one hand operation. It might be tougher to do with the compression lock though.

Re: Question about dyeing yellow Salt handles

I would guess that if you tries to dye them blue they would turn green. Blue and yellow make green.

For sure! I would love to see some brass or even copper in the lineup.

I didn't notice "jump" in price. If you compare price now and few years ago at the same dealer it is probably $10 more than originally. If you need one, place pre-order at any reputable dealer and you will have, when next batch will be released. Simple like this. This is sound advise. More eye cand...

I agree with leaving the original version as is but I would not be opposed to seeing a wharncliffe salt model of some kind.

For now I'm gonna call it the Gringo Salt.

I like that it has a choil.
