It is believed by some that some coatings increase friction but yes it can be dlc coated. Most 1095 survival knives are coated. I loath coatings, especially thick ones.

Since I got in on the MT18 and the forum native a set of option 5 scales to match the forum native would be a dream come true. :-)

And, finally, a few bright thoughts. Second, although it's a negative situation that has occasioned this thread, looking on the bright side, we have a very good, thoughtful thread here, started by the guy who runs the shop, without any nasty or even testy posts in four pages. Nothing's perfect, but...

It would be unfortunate to exclude people who would really enjoy the mule team knives. We can't forget that there are a lot of people who love knives just as much as the forum members on here but who do not love computers and online forums as much as the members here. I'm sure lots of people try not...

I believe that reducing it to one per customer could make it worse. The person with nine on ebay would have still got nine if they wanted to because funding was probably their limitation. Limiting to one could drive up demand and price. The club or forum member only ideas have some merit but you wou...

I sure do.

I also have been really wanting a Super Blue Police3. That would work well for me as well.

Have there ever been any police sprints?

The issue is basic economics. These are supposed to be a test platform but many people want them as users. The problem is ( I hate to say it) that they are priced so low. If the price is that far below the value than opportunistic individuals are going to seize that opportunity. I hope there is a so...

I may buy one but for me it is just a knife in the way of my M4 or cruwear para2. I appreciate the innovation and agree that the laminate on my SB delica scratches far to easy. I don't need the laminate for stain resistance as I prefer carbon steels anyway and I do not need it for its strength or to...

I like to carry a larger knife and a smaller knife and also a clean one and a dirty one. I do a lot of food prep with mine ( i'm almost a vegetarian, only eating meat a couple of times a month) so I use my knife on lots of produce. I love to eat raw fruits and veggies and they make up more than half...

Considering its reaction to apples I would say vinegar will work just fine. SB stains very easily for me.

Phones are synced to the international clock. They can't be off by much. The orders will be filled in the order they are received, not the order they were sent. Just because you sent it first doesn't mean they got it first. That variable is beyond our control and makes it a bit of a lottery if enoug...

The very moment my phone said 9 I clicked send. If I don't get one I don't know what else I could have done. I could have been in the factory store at 9 but the thread said to email so I did. I really want this knife. I was out of the country on my honeymoon way off the grid when it went on sale las...

I got a piece of copper plate that is 3" x 12" x .125" to make some scales. I would love to see more copper or brass in modern folders. Bronze would be my third choice of the three but that said I will still buy one of these if the machining is attractive to me.
