Keep in mind that ZDP and serrations don't mix well so that may be a factor. We also need to figure out if flat ground will work with the jimping on the nose of the blade. I am going to suggest hollow ground blades for that reason but if flat ground will work well then I am very interested in that t...

This is all wishful thinking about a forum knife that could be years away. Why are we talking about flippers already. Lets keep the thread to a discussion about what we would like to see in a knife and save the flipper talk for when the knife becomes a reality.

A diamond texture forest green G10 S110V Millie to match the forum Native would be most desirable!! :D I believe that the issue with that is that the existing stock of that diamond textured green G10 is thinner than what they typically use on the millie. That is what I was told when I inquired with...

Why not make a grey super blue model or a British racing green zdp model to compliment those two existing product lines?

M4 Sage forum knife? A Taiwan made forum knife would be something new. I prefer the Sage3 but any of them would be alright by me. They are already working with M4 over there. I do hear what you are saying. I just try not to ask for or expect too much from such a generous company. It does seem long o...

Just wondering, does Spyderco have something against M4? Against dark blue G10? Kind of rhetorical but these get requested everyday on the forums and Ive never seen Sal and the gang acknowledge it. I mean.... just tell us NO, NEVER. At least we'll slow down to requesting them every other day instea...

I would be all over that too. One problem, M4 is only coming in USA made spidies. Based on the steels the makers work with laminated Super Blue would be an option.

They already have the Bushcraft but a collaboration with Esee or Becker might be interesting to some. They both already have extensive products lines of mass produced knives at good prices and loyal followings so I am not sure if it makes any sense. The BK14 is a collaboration between Esee and Becke...

I would take the full size dyad and replace the serrated blade with a saw blade. I would make the saw blade without a hole or at least without a thumb ramp so the knife would be comfortable in hand and so the saw could easily be distinguished from the knife. I would also probably turn the saw around...

I prefer g10 for an edc user but love the carbon fiber on my Sage 3. Wish that type of carbon fiber was offered on more knives.

Second knife would be a yojimbo xl with a 3.5 blade.

Keep it S30V and G10 so I can afford one. Coat the blade.

Call it the Yojumbo.

I love very sharp knives as do all of us on here and if my knives don't shave cleanly in one pass then they are no longer sharp. That said, we all know that there is much more to cutting than just how sharp the edge is and sometimes that seems to get forgotten. Geometry is key. I have spoken up in t...
