Re: Bento Box Customer Service...

1) I have heard multiple people on forums and social media admit to ordering 2 or 3 of a knife so they can cherry pick their favorite and return the rest. That is likely why some dealers label some folks as chronic returners. 2) I don’t see a ton of difference between returning to a dealer or a manu...

Re: Anyone else hoping for a BBS exclusive Military in k390?

Even if K390 was the very best steel in the world, lightyears ahead of all the others - which afaik is not the case - I'd never support the BBS BS business model. I don't get how anyone can be so ignorant. Sorry if this offends some of you, but I feel it needed to be said. Ignorance is a lack of kn...

Re: Everyone knows that feeling...

My mailbox is at the end of my road out in the middle of nowhere. I have any expensive packages held at the post office. I do it enough that I think they want me to get a PO Box.

Re: Micarta Shaman 2nd Sprint Run

I would be happy with most steels. 3V, 4V, Cruwear, M4, K390 or 10V all sound great. 52100 would be good but if it’s CF then I’ll pass. Maxamet sounds awesome but not if the knife ends up costing about $280+. Also ok with some stainless options. Maybe XHP? Just gonna throw one more out there. :) S45...

Re: Micarta Shaman 2nd Sprint Run

Cruwear has been around for a long time and has had a few names but Crucible was the first to make a powdered version of it so CPM-Cruwear might be more well known because of it being released before PD1.

Re: Shaman Cru-Wear Sprint Run release ?

CPM Cruwear is made by crucible and CTS PD1 is made by Carpenter. It is the same recipe made by different chefs.

Re: Wal Mart Ammo

I have been buying those same boxes for $30 in a tax free state so they are 30 cents per round. Were they on sale or was that regular price? My gun actually shoots those very well so I may stock up.

Outstanding!!!

Maybe PD1? It would be the same knife yet still different.

Have they even done a mule with PD1 yet? I don't follow mules very closely.
Yup, I don’t have it but they did make one.

Re: Shaman Cru-Wear Sprint Run release ?

My previous post sounds a little whiny and I suppose it was. I intend it as constructive criticism though. The lottery method is common with custom knives and I am OK with that. These are production knives, even if they are limited. Do we really want Spyderco sprints to turn into hyper inflated obje...

Re: Bento Box Customer Service...

It is pretty much common knowledge what BBS’ policies are around here and this has already been discussed many times. They commission great exclusives and sometimes at decent prices but their other policies turn folks off so many of their knives sell slow. It comes down to voting with your wallet. D...

Re: Shaman Cru-Wear Sprint Run release ?

Ugh... I am so opposed to the idea of lotteries. If this becomes the new trend I will be needing to reevaluate some things. I won’t be playing that game.

Last I knew BBS has an all sales final policy. If you have an issue you may have to handle it through Spyderco W&R.

I’ll buy one. I bet the EDC forums folks eat them up. They will probably sell well in my opinion.

Re: Spyderedged Blades: A Total Mis-Understanding Maybe?

I have definitely given them a fair chance, I definitely know how to sharpen them, I definitely don’t think they are hard to sharpen and I definitely still do not like them. I actually strongly dislike them. I think this thread is a mess. It is pretty bold to say that just because someone doesn’t li...
