Lost knife

Well it finally happened, lost my endura. Last thing I remember was putting in my right front pants pocket, 30 minutes later I realized it wasn't there. I back tracked my movements but to no avail. Gone but not forgotten. That was 4 days ago and still makes me sick.

Sharpening angles

I have mostly endura and delicas spyderco knives. My question is there a standard factory angle that these are sharpened to? I want to dress them up as needed and don't want to do anything crazy . Factory specs are good enough for me. My smith adjustable sharpener lists 20 degrees as the setting . I...

Re: Smile, It's a Delica

When I clip a Delica in my left front pocket everyday it puts a smile on my face. Needless to say, it is my favorite Spyderco. Me and the Delica go back to around 1994-95. My first one had the FRN integral clip. Unfortunately I no longer have that one. Many have been added since. I do have various ...

My Stainless harpy goes in my back right pocket. No clip. Blade down with hinge in line with thumb.

Re: How can we get more women interested in Spyderco knives?

Tried to get my wife to carry a knife. Even offered a small Q to her to put in her purse. No dice, she afraid she will cut herself. Oh well, maybe my grandson in a few years.

Steel stropping

I have an old gerber sharpening steel and a Ezelap diamond steel. Both would be considered in the fine range. Could these be used for the final touch up on a edge, instead of a stropping leather?

Re: Spyderco Small Knife For Self Defense?

You mentioned Mike Janich, if I was you I would research more about what he suggests as far a a suitable knife. One thing for sure he says that a plain edge is preferable. Serrated edge might get caught up in loose fabric. Sal says it best, you want something you can grip and not drop when the SHTF.

Re: Pocket Clip Sizing/Compatibility Info

Bought a Jess Horn while back with no clip. I called Spyderco and they sent me one, only thing was it was the wrong one. Your list is good idea but no Horn, oh well. It makes a good (pocket) knife.
