If anyone wants an Excel Spreadsheet to keep track of their Spyderco Collection, just email me and I can send it as an attachment. Some of you allready have it. It really helps keep track of what you have tied up in your collection, and if you should lose it, it might help with insurance. Spyderwa R...

What if the Dodo did have a lanyard hole? I made some modifications to a photo to see what it would look like, and where you could do it. What do you think?

Civilian Sales Etiquette

Just a quick opinion needed. When selling my 1st gen. and CF Civilians, are there limits on who I can sell to? Of course I would not sell to a kid, but are there limits on mailing them? (California or Canada?) As always thanks for your advice.

I also use 32 slot SpyderPacs. I have 3 with two of them full of Spydercos. The other holds the occasional Buck, Benchmade, Chris Reeves, etc. Some overflow goes in a plastic Ikea tub in sleeves. Together they live in my gun safe downstairs. My edc Spydercos reside in a small set of drawers that sit...

I like Tactical Knives for the most part. What I dislike about it is when they talk about the knives used in a conflict and say things like, "This is a picture of a knife that could be used in _________". I really enjoy first person stories, but don't write speculative articles just to please the ad...

The Spyderwrench is a very unique tool that you really have to hold to understand. It is very well thought out and logical. It has the advantage of being able to come apart so you can have the screwdriver to turn a screw while using the other half to hold the nut. Because it can separate into two ha...

I sold the Boker Brend on Sunday at the show. It did not have Spydie ergonomics. I still need to get a new clip for the Lum Leaf folder. The other's all got tucked away. I was not expecting to find such a haul. I did sell about six Spyderco's, (none rare). As one accumulates items in any collection,...

I have a G. Sakai Clutch-lock. I'm not sure of the variations, but mine has the blue handle with the mother-of-pearl scale on one side. My first impression is that this is a very light knife. The blue handle tends to collect fingerprints, but they can be wiped off easily. The lock mechanism takes so...

I didn't ask about a sequel, but I suspect that he has other projects going. I don't know what I will do with the extra "Q" knives that I have yet. The important thing is that they are out there to find. This guy had a mess of older Spydercos at the old prices. Nothing very mouth-watering, old fully...

A Spyderholic Knife Show

I just returned from the NWKC knife show here in Western Washington. I bought a Plain edge "Q" for $22 from a seller that had a bunch of new-old stock. I had a few more customers at my table looking for "Q"s so I was happy to send them to him til he sold out. I had a gentleman come to my table wishi...
