good luck! i think one is on ebay for $275. i lost a bid on a well used one for about $170 a month ago. i don't like the nishijin scales. the're too smooth. i think there is some kind of clear coating over the fiber.

Good luck! There is one on ebay, or used to be for $275. I've been searching for a month! I lost a bid on a used one in good condition for around $170. I do not like the nishijin scales. They're too smooth, and it seems like there is a clear finish over the pattern.

For edc it doesn't matter. Depends on what you cut on a regular basis! For anything tougher than paper or cardboard i prefer a serrated edge.
