We don't have to have "good reason" to exercise our Rights or freewill. We are innocent until proven guilty (of a crime). So far... we may be headed for a conflict over that, though.

I saw on the News and then online where the DHS bought 1.6 billion rounds and I think that would be a little more than 1% of production. So it would be no surprise then that 9mm, 40, 357 sig.,45, 223 and 308 the very rounds mentioned in the articles are the very rounds that are almost non existant....

Who knew that the PM2 (in any iteration) would become the white whale of the Spyderco world? I'm glad I got the five examples I got!

I have the opposite opinion, I think the older natives with the swedge to tactical for my taste. That's why I really like the native 5, it looks a lot more classy Heck... there are a lot of "classy" Spydies that I own. That's kinda why I like the "tactical" look of this Native. Here's my "classiest...

I like the shape of the Native blade. The swedge in the spine just looks "right." Combine that with DLC and serrations, and it's perfect! This is the only serrated blade in my collections of Spydies... until Monday. That's when my Matriarch 2 should be arriving. http://i1042.photobucket.com/albums/b...

Ummm..... what kind of person would cut his food with a knife that resides in someone else's pocket (and obviously not knowing "where that knife has been")???

Yeah... I clean my fingernails with my knife, but go ahead and cut your bagel with it.

A part of me understands the hysteria. The possibility of the .gov infringing upon our rights seemed VERY real to many people. Heck... look at what's happening in some states. Some states are effectively banning guns. Fortunately, I live in a very 2A-friendly state. And, fortunately, I bought it che...

Not an expert on this. And, obviously, it depends on what you're using it for? Home? Car? Carry? I recently started carrying a light as part of my EDC. I've been very happy with Streamlight's Pro-Tac 1L. It runs on a single lithium battery (CR123). So, it's small and very bright. Resides deep in my ...

I don' t think it will end this time. I think the Government is buying up all they can to create such a demand as to drive prices where ammo is prohibitively expense for most people. Sorry.... but, that's not even close to being the case. The .gov's contract for FUTURE purchases amounts to 1% of am...

Ammo is coming down and getting easier to find. My father in law got me a 50 round box of Blazer "brass" 115gr 9mm for $17.50 at Dicks Sporting Goods today. I last paid $25 for a 50 round box of Federal 115gr. Wow. That's STILL very expensive. I was among those that saw this coming years ago. Accor...

Like many men, I've always had a fascination with tools... even tools for which I would have no use... or would have no clue on how to use. Knives are among the simplest of tools that go back very far in the history of mankind. We're hardwired to use and like tools. I've had knives off and on over m...

My friend's 20+ year old Spydie

I was having lunch with a friend. We got around to the topic of self-defense, conceal carry, etc. He said that he only carried a knife and mentioned that he can open it one-handed. Of course, I thought he might have a Spyderco. "Let's see it!" He put it on the table saying, "I've been carrying this ...
