But the question/topic isn't personal choice, it's what determines how they are shipped from the factory and why?

Yes, I like tip down but was questioning why knives leave the factory set a certain way, not which way is better when carrying.

Now they've updated and say delivery tomorrow. I have one Delica on the way from Massdrop. I bought 3 of them. All shipped the same day from the same place. All logged in at the same basic time in the same places along the way. Two delivered last Saturday and the third still not delivered. Not happy with FedEx/USPS.

Yes, I get it, without a dozen more comments being necessary. Nobody here owns a single knife other than Spyderco and wouldn't think of doing so so no need or interest in knowing about a really good deal otherwise. Got it. Truly. So also no need of anyone else repeating the already repeated.
