Absolutely amazing slicers! Thin stock and very thin grinds, also both the carbon steel and the modified 12C27 they use for the stainless just take a crazy edge.

I think it is another piece by Santa fe Stoneworks, an aftermarket custom. (Says so in the Delica's description.)
A beautiful piece nonetheless. :)

Nope, no reason to delete threads after you have received a response. They will stay here and provide info for anyone else who may have the same question in their mind. :)

I heard a diamond grinder powered by a nuclear reactor works adequately. :)

I don't know much about the Solo models but they do exist and are real.
There are a number of these types of models that were distributed in Japan at least.

The factory sale has usually been held around the same time. 2010 it was Sat Nov 20th, 2009 Sat Nov 21st, 2008 Sat Nov 22nd, 2007 was the farthest date I could find but it was Dec 8th. Excluding data prior to 2008, the pattern is pretty clear. Unless they radically change the venue of this years sal...

Dragonfly by the lake

Found this little Dragonfly buzzing around the lake so I snapped a picture as it landed on some rushes. This specimen happened to be sporting an amazing beautifully etched tattoo on it's back that is truly like no other I've ever seen on a knif... I mean dragonfly.

Don't own one so can't really give any specific advice. Since it is an aluminium handled knife anodized black, sanding it while its together is not an option since you'd also sand the scales in the process. I suspect the backspacer is also aluminium so sanding it even when its removed from the knife...
