Mine does. It is slight. Vertical play is, as you note, extremely common and not problematic. I would not let it stop you from purchasing the knife if you are so inclined.

I don't care b/w Almite and G10. I don't care if it is FFG or hollow. I would not like jimping - just don't find it necessary with a big hump to put your thumb on. I don't care b/w tip up or down but please don't do a 4 way clip. Too many extra holes. I like deep wire clips. I do like the slots as i...

What surfaces did you polish? The rounded rear portion of the blade and the mating surfaces of the lock bar. I had already tried adding lubrication. It was not that. You could feel the imperfections/irregularities as you opened the knife. The other internal surfaces are not visibly rough, as I have...

Native IV Review

I received this knife on July 29th and have carried it very consistently since. It is probably my second favorite knife of all time. My first is my Buck Mayo TNT which I have carried for about the last 7 years. I find it to be a very fine knife. First off, I like the smooth CF. This apparently puts ...

I really like my Native IV. I also like the smooth CF. It has a pleasing texture IMO. I don't find it slippery.

Bohica is correct. It is the Native Lightweight, not the Native II. Thanks for the correction.

I think you might have mis-labeled the knife. I think it is a Native II, not IV. As far as I know, the IV FRN hasn't been released yet.

As for the lock, it isn't typical in my experience. CS will help you out if you send it in.

I don't exactly miss it, as I use mine quite often. Great knife.

Generally it is a Ladybug Salt, Native 4 or Navigator.

I don't think you were necessarily obligated to return it. I think your obligation was to notify the seller and get their instructions. You deserve credit for showing integrity. Kudos. Just an observation - your anger seems to reveal that you knew the right thing to do the whole time and were merely...

Lawyer, hopefully one of the better ones and not the ones which are the subject of so many jokes.
