Luckily my fiance hates guns otherwise, I'd probably never have any money for knives... First philosophical fight my then fiance--now wife of 13 years-- and I had was about gun ownership (she was raised in Northern Cal.). Took 6 or 7 years before I bought a couple shotguns and a few years after tha...

I have a sm. seb. I don't regret the purchase, but I wouldn't do it again, if that makes any sense. Beautifully made knife, but ergonomically challenged when compared to many spydercos. For the kind of money you're talking about spending, I'd look around for a Spyderco ATR TI or a custom or small ba...

I don't suspect larger quantities would fly too well--there are still cobalt specials in stock and it took woodcraft a good long while to move their stock. There are other quality US made blade blank producers. I've bought numerous blade blanks on ebay from Two Finger Knife Co. Most of the blades ar...

I thought some would like to see this process. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_H4ogdBBHo&feature=g-like&context=G2599a16ALT1B81QACAA Wow. I could watch that all day. I'm so glad that there are still people who can do this kind of work and that there are still people willing to pay for it.

I too like those "Clif Bars">> there is another concentrated food bar that has a much bigger flavor selection called "Odwalla">> their "Berries Go Omega" is out of this world. And 2 of either one of those really quell your appetite for quite a while. The Odwalla bars seem to have a lot of vital nut...

I've been looking around in the AR category for a while now and understand the differences between that and the SCAR platform. I wouldn't go out of my way to buy a Freedom Group rifle. For the kind of money you're going to plunk down, I'd get an LMT--proven platform, proven manufacturer, and ability...

I've been on the fence for weeks about a pre order and my preferred pre order site no longer has them up--I was both pissed and relieved. I'm really, really trying to stick to US made products--on that issue, the Tuff may be my downfall :o

Cutting with the Balance is a dream, it is truly the little big knife that can. The edge is really short, but so is the edge on a box cutter.

Give Obama one more opportunity to stack the deck and any hope of a favorable outcome goes up in smoke. I've been an NRA member for years and they have accomplished much, but nobody can beat the dealer in a fixed game. The NRA's recent "This card beats Obama" campaign is striking a chord with a lot...

I have a pile of UKPKs. For 99% of tasks, slipjoints are just fine. They weren't a problem was I was a kid, and they aren't now. That being said, I EDC a locking knife when out of the house--the whole point of being prepared is so that I AM prepared the 1% of the time where a slipjoint isn't suitable.
