Topic: FRN Stretch going the way of the D4/E4 with regard to handle color? Yay/Nay?

I wouldn't mind seeing more FRN colors for the Stretch 2, but I'd really like to see a version with G10 scales and full liners. It'd be fine if it was the same foliage green G10 that is used for the D4/E4 G10 knives; that way collectors could have a matched trio of knives.

Not to sound like a total dunce, but I know what makes a Spyderco a Spyderco... But what sets the SureFires apart from the other Aircraft Aluminum LED brands? 10+ years ago, Surefire and Streamlight were about it when it came to "professional" lights. (Mag too, I suppose, but even back then the Sur...

Anyone up for a Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich thread? How about Peanut Butter and Honey? Mmmmmm.... :D My favorite is peanut butter and bacon on toast. The bacon can be cold (I make a few extra slices with breakfast, then put them in the fridge to keep until lunch time), but the toast needs to b...

I only had four Spyderco knives before 2009, so I've more than doubled my collection. My additions have mostly been new models introduced this year. Previous to 2009: * Delica 4 (PE) * Native (PE) * Para-Military (PE) * Rescue 79mm orange (SE) Added in 2009: * Delica 4 G10 (PE) * Delica 4 trainer (e...

I'd be surprised if any of the UKPK models were dropped -- especially since they've just introduced several new variants (drop-point, rescue). From what I've read on BritishBlades and MesserForum (well, what I can read there -- I don't remember much from the German classes I took 15 years ago), they...

I have the original (G10/154CM) M2, so I can't help with the weight question.

Just one small question, and one small observation. Are you certain the blade on your Manix 2 is 3.5"? I ask because blade of the pilot run one I had for testing a couple months back was just only 3 3/8", which would make yours larger. Yes, you are correct that the blade length (measured from top o...

Manix 2 and UK drop-point first impressions

I got my Manix 2 and UK drop-point from Knifecenter today. After playing with them for a few hours, here are my initial impressions: Manix 2 I was surprised at how big this knife is for a 3.5" class knife. (EDIT: As noted below, the blade is actually 3 3/8", not 3.5") It's very comparable to the Par...

I registered a while back, and finally got around to taking some snapshots of my Spyderco knives this weekend. (Click the thumbnail for a bigger version.) I have a Manix 2 and a UK drop-point coming, but they're not here yet. Delica 4 (with about three years of carry wear): http://img37.imageshack.u...
