Re: Watu - aftermarket scales?

I got mine a few days ago. I love it. :)

I actually like the cf/g10 texture but a wood scale would not look out of place.

Re: Z-Wear Shaman: availability discussion & lookout thread

Pretty sure they'll show up eventually. Yes I don't think it is a matter of if, just when. Spyderco still has quite a few knives to issue from reveal 5. But if you consider how Covid is effecting the manufacturing community, they are doing pretty **** good. My hopes with the Shaman is they have rea...

Re: Vanax PM2 Lets Do This!!!

Someone may have suggested already, but debuting a pm2 LW in Vanex would help keep costs lower and guarantee some more buyers who are anxiously awaiting that FRN platform. I'm confused here....how would debuting a Vanax PM2 LW make costs lower? We are talking about 2 new implementations for the com...

Re: 100% of people agree on this one thing!

Hopping in! Time for PM2 variants to rest and give other knives some time in the limelight. Plus k390 and the Manix equals a tough user knife that can take abuse. We could always use another Manix.

Cheese brown looks weird in a cool kind of way, but I voted FDE, can't have enough FDE in knives :D :D :D

Re: New Spyderco Knives: Reveal #6 in 2020 Coming Soon

"Everything that we're doing in H1, we'll also be doing in LC200N as an offering." - Eric at 2:56 That's cool to hear! :D Does this mean lc200n will replace h1 or just we will have 2 options? Is there a reason to buy h1 over if lc200n if so? I think Eric mentioned it in the first few minutes of the...

I don't know if Eric is around on these forums, but I would just like to put it out there that his smile, enthusiasm and positivity in promoting these knives is just awesome! Almost makes you want to buy them all just for his presentation alone :)

Re: Vanax PM2 Lets Do This!!!

i would like to try vanax and even in a pm2, but not with titanium. I enjoy the exploratory questions on the Vanax steel despite production costs but I am still confused on a "dive" knife made of titanium scales. Lock designs aside, can some of the coastal and underwater users educate me on the ben...

Re: Rock Jumper comparison thread + general info

@david, @grubetown

Would it be a stretch (pun intended, lol) to kindly ask for pictures comparing the handle thickness of the RJ to the Delica and other knives? Thanks!

https://i.imgur.com/btURbz6.jpg Here's my first attempt at a comparison pic with a Delica 4. Any tips/tricks? Hope this one will do. Let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for this! Looking at the Delica/RJ comparison pic, I think it is a pretty clever solution that Sal did to hide the ch...

Re: Vanax PM2 Lets Do This!!!

The particular combination proffered doesn’t appeal to me at all, and I buy a lot of PM2s and other spydercos. At some point a vanax spyderco could be cool. Not sure a PM2 is where I’d like to see it though. I buy knives to use not post pics of online or keep in a pelican case. I’m not knocking fol...

Re: Vanax PM2 Lets Do This!!!

folks, please, I hope we can focus on the discussion at hand and not resort to name calling anyone. Although I severely despise selling secondhand knives at a markup all because it was an exclusive and won't be made anymore. Back on topic, I think most of the people's points here boils down to how e...

Re: Vanax PM2 Lets Do This!!!

From what I can surmise, a few people willing to pay $300+ for a knife does not outweigh the production, shipping, and marketing costs of Spyderco. If it were any other manufacturer I would agree but this is Spyderco. The company currently making the Pochi. The company that made the Dodo, the Szabo...

Re: Vanax PM2 Lets Do This!!!

From what I can surmise, a few people willing to pay $300+ for a knife does not outweigh the production, shipping, and marketing costs of Spyderco. Even for a sprint run or dealer exclusive. In fact if we're talking about sprint, flash, or dealer, it might even be less profitable for Spyderco since ...

Can't believe it's almost parallel to the Sage (Sage 3 for the matter) in handle size. Thank you for the comparison pics, nice job!

Re: 12 reasons why the Delica is better than the Native

I have no dog in this debate since I have both knives. Although I must say that the Delica was one of my first Spydercos and it holds a special place in my heart, So I am partial to siding with it for discussion's sake. And for someone with average asian hands, the ergos of the Delica fits my hand m...

Re: Z Wear Shaman OR Rex 45 Chief

Maybe it's just me but I just can't get behind the looks of the Chief...kinda looks like a Photoshop-stretched version of the Native. Also you already have the Rex 45. Although it would technically be the same knife, the blade steel and the handle material would be different enough to warrant a anot...
