I'd be down for a Vanax Caribbean(or Rock Jumper).

Now this is a lovely idea! What better way to celebrate a new knife by using Vanax for a Sprint run?

Re: 100% of people agree on this one thing!

Question, does BBS have exclusive rights to the Ranger green colorway for the K390? I think a K390 Manix in RG colors would rock so hard. But I dislike the high prices that BBS puts on top of their exclusives. I'm not savvy to the blue K390 production colors, but that's just a personal thing and oth...

Re: FRN/Lightweights: I just can’t get into them

I like FRN especially the Seki ones. I don't like it when they get scuffed. The scuffmarks leave a lighter color from the displaced and marred FRN and is quite hard to buff out. I wish the Golden FRN/LW models like the Native and Manix could be redesigned like the Para 3 LW and Delica/Endura with co...

Re: Spyderco Neck Lanyard?

We have a very pretty relaxed ID lanyard policy at the office. I would like for the opportunity to wear a lanyard from my favorite knife brand in the world (and get people talking about it, always the first step in the rabbit hole...) :D

Re: Rockjumper = wow!

I really, really hope this becomes a new platform for different steels and blade shapes. It’s begging for a Salt version. I’m personally not a big warncliffe fan but this one is staying with me. Would love to see an option with a little belly in the future. I am super excited to see Salts, sprints ...

Re: Besides salt water, what do you find causes rust the most?

If I were still living in Taipei, Taiwan, I’d be carrying a linerless Salt. Especially during the summer months, but all year, really. Jim Hi Jim, Our countries are much more closer than you can imagine. Lol. Surprisingly, tool steels actually do well in our tropical climate, its just that sometime...

Re: Besides salt water, what do you find causes rust the most?

On one occasion I left an O1 blade (very rustprone anyway of course) accidently in dissolved denture cleaner (yes, I luckily DO still have all my natural teeth ;), but denture cleaner is great for cleaning bike bottles or the like) for an hour or so. This really caused a lot of corrosion in a short...

Re: Besides salt water, what do you find causes rust the most?

Climate and humidity. I've taken good care of my months-old GB2...making sure to oil it lightly before putting in into my watertight knife case. Never cut food or done food prep with it. Only dry cutting applications and I really made sure to wipe it down on my pants or shirt after use. Checked it a...

Welcome :) it only takes less than 20 moderator approved posts to get you going. It is addictive to post here especially when you get to interact with personable and likeable folks who like knives with round holes in them.

And Sage looks insane! Not like mine, tired of work. I agree, the wire clip is the deal breaker among these kn...

Re: What happened to the Boye Dent?

I honestly cannot tell any performance or safety difference with the dent on or not. I find that I have never accidentally closed my Native 5 despite several grip positions. But then it may also depend on the hand size of the end user.

Re: "Climbing story" in the newest Spyderco Byte

Hey, I haven't seen that long thread! I also dabbled in a bit of rock climbing myself many years ago. There are lots of limestone crags and karsts in our country. Only top rope for me though. https://i.ibb.co/S5fJSsQ/Screenshot-20201001-204911.jpg That's me toproping a single pitch limestone wall a...

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up

Hi JD, Looks looks we're moving forward on the Sprint. The maker will modify the tooling to accept a 4 way hourglass clip . G-10 scales to be made on the US. Hi Sal, Even if just for this, many of us are very happy that you have considered those who favor tip-up carry. I know it's not an easy compr...
