With regards to the proposed MAP holiday - dealer exclusives are always dropping now and then, so I don't think most Spyderco dealers will have dry sales all throughout the year. FOMO will still win out.

I'm sorry to hear about your wife Gail's injury. I am a trained responder myself where I'm at and I have had my share of responding to emergencies, but so far I haven't met anyone who became violent during/after treatment. That is surely a rare occurrence and he might have misinterpreted the punches...
