Re: Native Chief - Can we get a heartbeat?

I watched NIck's video this morning and he touches on the biggest problem I have with this knife, if it was a 3.98" blade instead of a 4.08" it would be legal for me to carry in my state. Given how many states/cities have length restrictions I wish manufacturers would take that into consideration an...

Re: KnifeCenter CPM-CRUWEAR Native 5 with smooth black G10

Did you need to swap the lockbars as well? Been considering doing a swap to get G10 scales with a SE Salt blade. You should swap the lockbar as well. I always keep the mated blades and lockbars together in all my various swaps (although occasionally I’ll swap a PM2 blade without doing so and those ...

Re: KnifeCenter CPM-CRUWEAR Native 5 with smooth black G10

Well, this happened today. :D Been wanting a Native5LW in Cruwear for a long, long time. My well loved Maxamet blade works well in the smooth G10 handle too. I am quite pleased with this swap. Did you need to swap the lockbars as well? Been considering doing a swap to get G10 scales with a S...

Re: So when does this forum start speculating about the upcoming discontinued models???

I'm wondering about the serrated Shaman's success. I never see anyone posting about them on forums, instagram, etc. Seems like if you want a large serrated folder, the Caribbean is the winner. Having said that, I suppose they're more likely to scale back production than discontinue the serrated vers...

Re: St. Nicks Knives Exclusive hint - Lil Native?

I snagged one, time will tell if it can hold up to replace my dragonfly salts. Some h1/lc200n sprints would be nice. Agreed! Since there's a lw native salt, I wonder if we'll see a lw lil native salt one day. Sal has already said months ago that Eric is working on a Lil Native LW, but I don't know ...

Re: reasons to like the compession lock:

Ouch. The one time I've really gotten into my thumb was my first and last experience with an assisted opener. Didn't know it was assisted, started slowly thumbing it open and pow, thumbnail to the bone. Bled all over the counter at the retail shop...and the knife.

Re: St. Nicks Knives Exclusive hint - Lil Native?

I just picked mine up. I have to work tomorrow and didn’t want to miss out on this one. This might be the sharpest knife out of the box that I have ever had. If they only had 350 and the storefront has been selling them I wonder how many are left... going into this with low expectations of success.

Re: The next Endela?

Okay, I'm curious and just have to ask. What would be the advantage of having the serrations in the middle of the blade? My apologies to the op if I derailed this thread. I guess there's a couple theories or reasons for it that have been proposed. The most practical reason to me is that it leaves s...

Re: The next Endela?

My ideal spyderco would be a re-release of the usn knife from years back. A great combination of features already, and were you to upgrade the steel and add g10 scales in the endela size....oh my. https://www.spyderco.com/catalog/details.php?product=415 I fully respect your opinion (!) and am glad ...

Re: Reveal, lack of anticipation, general thoughts.

It would be nice to see the reveal program altered a little bit, one large reveal at the beginning of the the year outlining everything with quarterly updates indicating what's slated for the next 3-4 months as per the current program. Just to use an example, I'm most interested in a Shaman or Kapar...

Re: You can run any model you want in LC200N. Which do you choose?

Endura, G-10, Emerson wave, combo edge.

Basically this, with G10/LC200N. I'd even settle for FRN and pickup some Micarta aftermarket. :D
