I have plans to make the entire Endura family in K390. BU wasn't planning on making an more K390 until October so we're just waiting on material.

Great news! Thanks, Mr. Glesser, for the update. Will this include the Stretch 2?

Re: Knife myths you should not accept as true a priori (meant to be a POSITIVE thread!)

ANYBODY should be able to do this. Then maybe I am a candidate! Using my thigh is certainly straightforward enough -- but I didn't think that would receive full credit. This is certainly what comes to mind in the 1 in 1000 time I actually need to close a back-lock one handed (like when I am holding...

Re: Where is my Bow River ?

I had a chance to carry the Bow River on a hike yesterday up to Melakwa Lake. Melakwa means mosquito in Chinook, but fortunately we didn't encounter any. At 4500 feet in the Cascades, fall is definitely in the air. IMAG3528sm.jpg This is my first Phil Wilson designed knife and my first trailing poin...

Re: Where is my Bow River ?

So, any tips for getting the most out of the 8cr13mov? Sharpening advice, etc? I'd try reprofiling to 15 degrees per side and only going up to the mediums, and if you strop only do 1-3 passes per side. I think the slightly toothier finish helps the lower edge retention steel maintain slicing aggres...

Re: Where is my Bow River ?

My pair of Bow Rivers just landed. These things are super nice-- even more so for the price!

By nice, I don't mean fancy, just very well done. These are basic down-to-earth tools.

Vivi has some good ones RE: reprofile narrower and med grit finish? Not 100% but search by user and 8cr13mov.

I was recently thinking a couple times to inquire on the Off Topic thread if anyone had heard anything from SEF. I guess not then.

Re: Knife & Watch

Nice, Alex. Love the Seiko. Thanks Josh! :) It was a gift from my brother for my 21st birthday. I wore it every day since for at least twenty years and it shows I s’pose. It got knocked around when I was steel erecting (iron worker). It was never off my wrist and I wore it surfing, scuba diving, wa...

Re: Szabo Folder Review (Picture Heavy)

The Szabo is gorgeous. I lump it together with the Chinook 4 as a big heavy Spydie that i want but i will probably never get because i just wouldn't carry them.
