Re: Native Chief sprint or exclusive?

I feel like a broken record, but I would be quite happy to see LC200N and Cruwear. The standard G10 handle in different colors would suit me.

And to stay on topic, I haven't heard anything about what's really going on and have been curious myself.

Re: H-1 is subpar???

H1 SE and LC200n PE are great choices.

S110v is super stain resistant too. I don't have any, but so I've read.

Re: Spyderco Value Knives

My experience with my Resilience, Efficient, Bow River and Byrd Rescue have been excellent. All are 'merely' 8cr13mov- plenty good for most less-demanding tasks or for those happy to touch up frequently. I still mostly prefer my mid and top-shelf Spydies, but find these value models, well... valuabl...

I hope they will release a super blue caly 3.5 Lightweight. I prefer slimmer knives. Superblue gets so sharp!
Would be cool. I am curious if we'll see Japanese steel in the Taichung built LWs?

Re: Sage 5 Lightweight

The price difference between this and the Para 3 version is a bit puzzling. They are essentially the same knife, besides the size of the thumb ramp and depending who you talk to...S30V being a better steel. They are the same size, feel similar in hand (at least the G10 versions do) I had a Para 3 L...

Re: Cleaning up DLC...it's easy!

My understanding is that DLC is at its most corrosion resistant when it is used as a medium to hold oil. The DLC itself doesn't add so much corrosion resistance, but it holds oil much better than bare steel, so adds corrosion resistance primarily as a means of holding oil on the surface. So, oil you...

Both of mine have a great build, but the G10 model has a much firmer detent, which i prefer. Otherwise they have similar action and build.

Re: Caly 3.5 Light Weight: Any News?

Still excited about this one! I'm curious about this one. Will it be re-engineered with an internal stop pin? Have there been internal stop pin designs out of Japan before? I can only think of Golden and Taiwan from memory The 3.5LW will be made in Taiwan according to Sal so it is possible that it ...

From what I understand, I am pretty sure the Seki sprint run this year will be K390. That includes the Endela and P4 LW.
I think that's right, but ZDP could be regular production, no?

Re: Knives I wish I had bought two of

Hindsight is 2020. There are some knives but I wish I had bought two of when they were still in production. One is the Manix 2 back lock and the other is the urban light weight K390. What knives do you regret not buying a second? I’m with ya there. Manix2 Backlock is probably my favorite Spydie.......
