Re: Exclusive Sticky?

Doesn't the "Upcoming" thread already serve this purpose? It lists exclusives and sprints. https://forum.spyderco.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=82464&hilit=upcoming I don't see the DLT 20CV Paramiltary 2 that dropped at the same time as the Blade HQ M4 Shaman on there ... It's been prev...

Re: M4 Shaman Exclusive

Interestingly, DLT had a limit of 2 per household; Blade HQ didn't. I don't know what that's all about, but I could've easily scooped up 10 or 100 knives from Blade HQ. Annnd that’s why some jagbag is selling them for 390$ a pop with 3 available on the Bay right now. I should list mine for 385, jus...

Re: M4 Shaman Exclusive

I picked up the exclusive DLT Paramilitary 2 that dropped at the same time as the Blade HQ Shaman. Had to move quickly, and rely on Chrome's excellent autofill feature, but I managed to pick up 2 of each. It's something I've been doing recently, as I like to put 1 knife in rotation and 1 in storage ...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

Not in my pocket, in USPS boxes inbound to the office, but I'll have 2 x Paramiltary 2 in 20CV and 2 x Shaman in M4.

Before you ask, no I won't wear all 4 knives at the same time. 1 of each are going in storage.

Re: Paramilitary 2, a delicate knife?

Good Evening Spydermen and Women, Attached is a comment I ran into on a Facebook group earlier today, normally I brush off a little trash talk... but he happened to be talking about my favorite model. The biggest insult of all was referring to the pm2 as "pocket jewelry", the equivalent o...

Re: Red G10 20CV Manix 2 - DLT EXCLUSIVE

Customs by a South African maker by name of Trevor Burger.

The model is the LEXK (Large Excalibur). The blade is an unusual variation, they typically come with a drop/spearpoint.

Left one is on washers, right two are on ceramic IKBS.

All three are front flippers.

Re: Red G10 20CV Manix 2 - DLT EXCLUSIVE

I always buy 2 of something I'm interested in, one to carry, the other to keep (either to flip later, or as a collectible). This was no exception. I haven't carried it yet, because I don't have a deep carry clip for it. So it's sitting on my desk. The only recent notable exception to the "2 rul...

Re: Reputable Online Spyderco Dealers

DLT Trading is legit, their shipping is insanely fast. They also have a loyalty program (dangerous). Knifeworks is legit, they're very nice on the phone (they called me because I made a large first-time purchase from them and wanted to make sure I'm not a Nigerian prince). Blade HQ is legit, they pu...

Wrong critter, but licensed hole! I say it counts, and one of Benchmade’s finest as far as I’m concerned. I gave my D2 one to a good friend, I need to get another one of these days.
That's exactly right!

Only the Mead of the Gods! Pray it spewed from Odin’ beak.😁 seriously There is a practical folder market being missed that has nothing to do with the pocket. Spyderco fixed blade have never and will never dominate the market. This guy may be onto something. Have any of you used Silky saws? I have t...

I am interested in his stuff as well. Is it not quality work? Pics look pretty darn good. Please share any kind of information ...

Ripp's Garage Tech is legit (on the WWW). So is RC Bladeworks (on IG and FB).

This thread devolved into a name calling fest.

Did we reach any conclusion?

I still need two parts for my mangled Para3 (my fault, I'll pay for the parts & shipping, because I'm a dum dum).

Re: Spyderco and law enforcement personnel

There is also a sort or urban legend or mythos that if you're a cop or military person that you know a lot about guns or knives. If you took a random sample of police vs the general public you certainly would have more knife/gun folks in the mix but for many of them its a tool for the job that they...

Very interesting, it seems like a mixed bag here.

The LE professionals on YouTube may be in the minority as true "knife guys."

Re: Spyderco and law enforcement personnel

Very popular. This is just from my limited recollection, so it's most likely wrong, but Spyderco seemed to be the first knifemaker embraced by the law enforcement community. I did an internship with my local police department way back in 1991 and nearly every officer had a Police model with a fully...

I used to not keep them, and I now have a CF plain edged Civilian without a box.

I've been keeping all my boxes for the past 10 years or so.
