Re: Shaman Cru-Wear Sprint Run release ?

I had been watching the bay and noticed a small surge in available pieces as the blade hq release was unfolding (and with others as well). Got me to wondering how many units get snatched up by retail staff in the market delivery process??? I suspect a number of them do ...

Re: Still wishing for a Chaparral XL / Endela "thin edition" / or something along that lines

Although something I'm not interested in, I believe there is a niche for it. I am surprised at how many people have mentioned using a pocket folder for kitchen duty and performing kitchen duty elsewhere than the kitchen (like slicing a sandwich at the office or an apple while on a hike). I'm now fin...

Re: Upland game/Small game knife

I am a hardcore Upland Game hunter I live for it! Ever since I fell in love with Spyderco I have been eagerly awaiting some kind of folding bird/trout knife. I have bought a bunch of different models and experimented with them and each had its own pros and cons to this day my favorite so far has be...

Re: Delica 4 Glow-In-The-Dark FRN

I suspected these to be around for a while ... couple weeks or so. Is this the fastest selling Delica 4 exclusive/sprint? Cruwear went quickly as well but it seemed to linger a little longer than this one... and this one is just VG-10. Wow!!!

Re: Micarta Shaman 2nd Sprint Run

In summary people don't want what they need, they want the object that reflects their perceived needs. People thought the base shaman was average (s30v is probably fine in most applications) - but the cru-carta is basically the Wrangler unlimited - people like the idea that their jeep has locking d...

Re: Upland game/Small game knife

I came across this technique about 30 years ago while at a gun club invite. (This type of hunt is not my cup of tea, but acquaintance was training a new dog so it had a justified purpose). From what I've experienced, most sport/club hunters aren't interested in the meat. I spent time with the guys i...

Re: Micarta Shaman 2nd Sprint Run

They admitted they made a mistake in underestimating the demand based on slow sales of the base Shaman. They are "righting this wrong" by already hinting at three more Micarta Shamans. If the base models are slow sellers ... why the popularity of the cruwear micarta model? Can someone explain the s...

Re: Upland game/Small game knife

I was thinking a small b&t knife could be like a ball point pen. Something of a small tube but more oval than round and the cap would be the sheath and possibly twist lock into place.

Re: Upland game/Small game knife

I have been fishing since 5, small game hunting since grade 1, and big game hunting for around 3 decades. I am near 60 and have found (generally speaking) that I could clean anything with anything as long as it has a sharp edge. A favorite of mine was a ceramic blade boker about 2" in length that w...
