Re: Mulling over the Mule

I see the fixed blade as the best platform. Not interested in paying more ... are cutting edge steel folders do-able for less than $70-$80??? UK penknife in plastic and S110V is about $100 thru retailers. I guess some of you are saying you would be willing to pay a heftier price for a mule if it is ...

Re: Mule Team

The idea is releasing a new steel in a limited run for steel junkies to test before putting it into production blades. And having them all be the same model so they can be compared apples to apples. Ideally they would have all been folders from the beginning, so you have many steels in the same bla...

It used to be spyderbugs till a gutless POS on Bladeforums got it taken down Uggh, I hated to be involved in that thread (responding to that person), and really hate how it turned out. :( I was a customer of hers for years and many of my deep treasures came from that source. Mule! It's a great fixed blade that doesn't get the attention it should. However, I think same could be said for most of the Spyderco fixed blades.

Re: Fixed Blade Friday!

Picked up a Sprig today!!! Something about it disappearing from retail shelves and being discontinued by Spyderco made me have to have it. It's unlike my usual fixed blades which tend to be drop point hunters. Won't get to carry it today as I am going to wrap it and gift it to myself in a couple of ...

Re: Uk Penknife Maxamet?

Why is there a different length spring/backspacer for the G10 vs the FRN? I'm sure its been discussed but I'm new to this. Thanks in advance, CG Having browsed the web it appears that there is a shorter length piece that is not split at the end in the older frn models, a shorter length piece that i...

Re: G10 UKPK officially makes a return! Heinnie Haynes Exclusive

How is the balance on the G10 model vs that of the FRN? Seems like the weight would be shifting some to the rear with the full length back spacer. Do the G10 scales weigh any more than the FRN scales? CG One of my frn UKPK's weighs in at 1.7oz vs. 2.2oz on the g10 exclusive. So half an ounce diff. ...

Re: G10 UKPK officially makes a return! Heinnie Haynes Exclusive

if ordering outside of the U.K. be sure to remind them somewhere in your order so they don’t charge you the extra tax. I’ve got good intel from a U.K. group that this was an 800 knife run and there are a little over 100 left. It doesn’t sound like there will be another run of these soon if ever. Fo...

Here's most of my drawers! :) My small clip less knives. These are carried daily as I am in slacks at work. DF2 is my favorite.
