I looked at prices at BHQ, DLT and NGK, and it looks like these are being sold at 70% of MSRP. Is this particular to this model or is a MAP change on the way?
Not much less than the cost of a carbon fiber model; and if you find the discontinued Sage 1 at a decent price, about the same.

Re: How many screws can be seen on your CF/G10 laminated Chaparral?

There was talk earlier this year about cqi happening with the chaparral. It was mentioned the clip seat/recesses had been improved to hold the clip better. Maybe they did something more???

Re: Straight Spine Stretch

Mine arrived the other day. Thumbs up to National Knives for shipping out quickly and sending a really good sample of this knife (centered blade, grinds about equal along the edge and each side, and all else in good order). Really, really, really dig NK's filler packing material ... a bright yellow ...

Probably one of those I should've bought two of ... but will get another when and if available in a diff color and/or steel. Although the Magnitude/Lil Native "Crazy Good Deal" bundle is no longer available at BHQ, the Magnitude is for $189.99 which still seems a "Crazy Good Deal"! :spyder:

Re: Seconds Sale.

Last year I dropped in at the SFO mid-dayish on the Friday before the seconds sale. About a dozen to two dozen people were lined up on the walk in front of the store off to one side so SFO daily activity could still happen thru the entry unobstructed. There isn't much of a lobby and they weren't all...

Re: Still wishing for a Chaparral XL / Endela "thin edition" / or something along that lines

Wouldn't a Chaparral XL be basically a Sage? I think it would be a little more slender/elongated than a Sage. I had my Ti Chap out of the drawer today and was imagining it a little longer in the handle and a little longer in the blade when I had it in hand; and thought, wow, that would be really co...

Re: Shaman Cru-Wear Sprint Run release ?

Yeah, I've got the same look using drumstick wax. i've reapplied it numerous times. i prefer the "dry" look from the factory, but it was a little slippery for me. the drumstick wax gives it some grip. Ditto, my reaction too. I like the dry/out of the box look best but thought it felt slippery. CG

Re: Shaman Cru-Wear Sprint Run release ?

..... I never got a even a hint to buy one at MAP even though I was on several sites within seconds of it going live. I would be curious to know how many people on this board actually had the opportunity to buy one at MAP vs how many people tried? Had one chance at standard retail price and that wa...
