Can't stand FRN. Feels like cheap plastic junk. I'm not trying to offend anyone. But I'll take G10 or CF or even bare Titanium over FRN any day.

Yes there's something special about it. It was designed to be the ugliest knife ever made and it did so masterfully.

Spyderco's VG10(which is the only VG10 I've tried) takes a killer edge with out too much effort.

Was that meant to be funny or something? It failed miserably IMO.

The Sage series have the best f&f I've seen in that price range. I would gladly take a knife from the makers of the Sages than any Japanese or American Spydie any day. They appear to take great pride in their work and pay close attention to the details.

STR will make you a new clip for a reasonable price. He uses titanium and he can even make you a lowrider clip. He has forums on Blade Forums and Knife Dogs.
