Sharp, you are not wrong. It boils down to what works for you, like syle of blade or blade steel. I just feel that tip up is safer with the knife in my right front pocket, and the spine resting against the rear of the pocket. Another advantage is if you have to crawl around on the ground with a knif...

Thom, and Carlos you guys have it right. I'd rather have it safe, then faster deployment!

I've find it to be just the oposite! I had our Military open (and no I don't loosen the pivot screw!) in my duty paints given my right pocket some ventilation. RKBA!

Thank the Almighty the Bangor Punta years are gone for ever! They were the owners from about 68 or 69 until the late 80's.

Hey Sal, I'm some what a F1 junkie myself. How about that Michael Schumacher, looks like he's going to win another championship. I miss the Ayrton Senna years, that's what got me hooked! I want to try CF on a knife but it's to pricey compared to G-10, and macarta. It's used in F-1 cars and road raci...

With a good heat treat it takes me about 1/3 more sharpening to get the same edge. The great thing is it last about 1/3 longer! It's really not that bad. My next favorite steel to 30V! RKBA!

I've thought about that one myself, but in the satin model. It's designed by Daryl Ralph, thus the similar look to the Camillus EDC. It has 410 SS handles w/frame lock, and uses 440C steel. A great deal for about $25.00, but the reason it cost that much is because it's made in China, which is a big ...

For me, even though it looks similar to the Military, it's to ugly. The handle just looks awful, although I would imagine it feels pretty good. I know looks are subjective, and most folders aren't things of beauty anyway. RKBA!
