I just found a custom maker who (I hope) licenses the Spydie Hole and--if I may say so--OH MY GOD YES.

I never had much interest in flippers until I decided to get a knife specifically for my left hand. I'm very much a dominant righty, so I wanted it to be as foolproof as possible. Again, maybe it's because it's an assisted opener, but I absolutely can't miss with this flipper in my left hand.

You have a really good point about the BB lock issue. :) Frame lock it is!

Maybe it's because it's an assisted opener, but I can't not get this 0350 to whack straight open every time. It's kind of amazing.

One of the Glessers recommended Ballistol to me years ago. They sold it at the SFO. It's good stuff, and IIRC nontoxic. That being said, FP-10 is by far the best CLP I've used.

I ask only because I'm considering selling a few "extras" to fund a mid-range custom, and I'm not interested in anything without the round hole. :) So a list (even if not official) would help me narrow my search.

Does anyone have a list of current (or recent) custom makers who have licensed the round (not oval or rectangular--the real deal) hole? I know Jens Anso does, but he has stopped taking orders for a while. Wilkins does as well. Who else?

The thick blade is nice, and I'd rather it stayed how it was, but it's not a dealbreaker. I'd be more concerned if the handle shape were to change, as it would no longer be the same knife.

I sure would like a rhino one....

Ah, OK. I think I'm one of the few who prefer the rhino blade. I certainly would pick up a leaf sprint run, though, as long as Sal keeps it mostly like the original, perhaps with some subtle improvements made possible by changes in production between then and now.

Did I read about an upcoming Lil' Temp sprint run a couple of weeks ago? Or am I imagining things?

I played with the new one at the SFO and thought it was really very nice, but I couldn't get along with the small opening hole. It's very easy to miss.
