Chinook: maybe a carbon fiber handle w/spider logo. Or a titanium handle with a spider web design ala Chris Reeves? Also, what about a gold titanium blade coat?

Had seen pictures of the James Keating "Chinook" but when you see it up close it is a lot more impressive. Saw one today and bought it. Rather massive for a folding knife and has the up swept curve of a Bowie. I am sure that must have been a factor in the design as Keating is a knife fighting ...

With all these new knife steels I get more and more confused. Used to be ATS 34 was hi-tech, now to be on the "cutting edge" of steel technology you have to get into BG 42, CPM 440V, VG10, CPM3V, CPM420V, etc. And now I read where the new designator for CPM440V is S60V and for CPM420V it's S90V.
