David, I only had to do the office, manual, long arm, scissors type paper cutter. Wasn't too hard because fortunately it was a really mild steel.

I don't have darts, but that got me thinking about needles. I recommend sharping them. They are surprisingly dull.

I too recently did a paper cutter for work, turned out good. I don't think I have done tweezers, but why not. I sharpen screwdrivers and wire cutters all the time.

Oh and ditto to the crow bar. They are awesome when sharp. Though to not have any fancy Ti types. Just your Home Depot variety.

And, now for something completely different, I sharpened a cheese shredder. The stamped steel implement never really did a good job of shredding stuff. Now, works like a champ!!

No the glass breaker is completely disabled with this grind. I should point out that this a a factory second knife without a glass breaker. I would not suggest anyone void their warranty with this mod.

Here’s a quick post to share a mod I just made and to get some feedback. I call the below a Yojimassist and think that Mr. Janich should consider the Assist for his next modification. The knife has huge potential for defense and hard use.

Yeah, so the blade edge contacts the steel spring when it is closed.

That’s my understanding as well for the blade kick. I wasn’t sure because of the wooden Dragonfly and the Spyder Wrench, pic below.

My thought with SE edge is that wear from hitting the spring would be limited to the points of the SE edge. With the PE edge, I end up with a much larger dulled area.

By the way, in checking the completed listing on the Bay, there were a number of 440V Natives that sold for a reasonable price ...
