Re: Dragonfly sitting on a Dragonfly...

...Maybe the dragonfly kept cool because the knife was Foliage green? (eyeroll) You could be right! FG is a kind of natural color. :p How Dragonflys Are Made. You mean..... sex ?!?!?!? Should I await now a couple of small dragonflies or small G10-Dragonflies? :D If the latter would come true ...

Re: Dragonfly sitting on a Dragonfly...

Very cool shot indeed. Now who's going to take a similar picture with a Ladybug? Or any of the other "bugs" (Honeybee/ Grasshopper/ Cricket) for that matter? Of course, if you really feel lucky you can try it with an Ocelot :D Years ago I took a pic of a ladybug crawling on my Dragonfly S...

Re: 2020 Spyderco Forum Calendar Contest!

Since it came out, I loved the Dragonfly G-10, but was hesitating to buy due to the relative high price here in Germany. Until now I already had both FRN Dragonflies in black with VG-10, BRG in ZDP-189, yellow in H-1 and the Nishijin model. Last week I discovered a Dragonfly G-10 offered by an Austr...

Re: Hospital Dragonfly

Doc, I wish you a good and quick recovery!!! Abt. 23 years ago I had a serious bicycle accident, in which my right shoulder was heavily injured. But after one year I was able again to shoot my rifles and even the 12 gauge shotguns (you know the recoil... :p )! I know by own experience how difficult ...

Re: Finally pulled the trigger on a Lil’ Native.

My Lil Native is the toughest(and most comfortable ) small knife I've used so far...beating my old Mini Recon 1 by a wide margin. When breaking down large double wall cardboard, The LN mows through without putting undue stress on the hand/wrist. James In the 2004 Spyderco catalog the Paramilitary 1...

Re: Lil' Native CompLock Pivot Screws

I usually adjust only one screw, usually starboard side as I'm right handed. However, adjusting both screws evenly would probably be more "correct." Thanks to you, Sir! So I think I got it: There is a D-shaped pivot bolt and 2 screws... An exploded view picture would solve any remaining q...

Re: Lil' Native CompLock Pivot Screws

they a both sides d shaped. which captively hold the bronze washers as well. yes 2 torx on both side if you want both scales off and the pivot. Thank you Sir! I only want to adjust the pivot as the blade shows a little side-by-side play. But if both liners are D-shaped which pivot screw (on which s...

Lil' Native CompLock Pivot Screws

Short question:
Are the pivot holes in the liners D-shaped, i.e. I have to loosen only one screw and then on which side or are the holes rounded which means I have to use two Torx8?
Thanks in advance! :)

Re: How to buy a knife

Honestly, the Lil’ Native Compression satin blade was second on my list. I wasn’t sure I would like it but after months of indecision I bought one and it became one of my favorites and regular carry. I still miss it. But, I think overall the Chaparral LW is a slightly better fit for me. Hard decisi...

Re: Let's Get Serious: G-10 Handles Are Just Hard To Beat For EDC uses

How interesting!!!?? I had no idea that there were other variants of BALLISTOL  . I'll have to do some digging on that one. I'm pretty sure that any product they would put out would be quite useful IMO. It seems like I was told once that the product BALLISTOL originally came from Germany ...
