Tip down - next to the outside edge of the right rear pocket.

Front right pocket is wallet - harder for a pickpocket to get at the wallet there.

Well, it's probably heresy, but I do use my Yojimbo as a glorified box cutter. Works darn good, too!!!!

I'm with Francisco here - I like convex sharpened knives, and usually resharpen non-convex knives to a convex edge. The basic tool I use is a piece of leather mounted on a wood block with increasingly finer grades of wet/dry sandpaper. Makes for a very sharp, very durable edge.

Just picked one up - a very nice knife that appears about to become my EDC. Good feel, smooth action, good lock, and I really like the blade shape.

Thanks for the enabling!

Since I've had a few clips get loose, when I get a new knife now I use blue loctite on the clip screws. That seems to solve the problem of loose clips for me.

I think the "nose hump" gives added strength to the point of a very thin and finely ground blade.

No nose grinding will be done on my Stretch, thank you!

Ti Millie Lock-up

I got a Ti Millie about 6 weeks ago, and have carried it a bit.

At this point the locking bar is more than half way across the base of the blade.

Is this normal for a Ti Millie? My other ti framelock knives only cover about 1/4 of the blade base even after several years of use, and I'm concerned ...

While a gun of large caliber would certainly be preferred for going mano-a-mano with a cougar or bear, if you go back and read up on all the known /recorded encounters between people and large predatory animals in North America, a surprising number of people have used a knife and come out on top ...

Ti ParaMilitary?

So what is the likelihood of a Ti ParaMilitary coming along one of these days?

Just personally, I think that would be even better than the Ti Military!

A friend gave me a friction forged blade this past year. The edge is probably under 15 degrees total - very thin. It seems to keep its sharpness quite well.

When working on a animal carcass, I happened to catch the edge on a bone while slicing through some gristle. The edge rolled in one very ...
