I'll definetly throw a vote in for "YES", although I certainly understand what Yablanowitz is sayin. I think an H1 Paramilitary would be perfect, and would have minimal parts/liner that would need to be H1 or Ti. We can always daydream, right?? :D :D :D

Is that an underwater photo?

Yup, and it kinda does look like I might have superimposed two pictures, or taken it in front of an aquarium...lol... but I swear it was taken underwater!!!

Very cool pic, and very cool story!!! I'll add to the pics of Salts in their environment... I just got back from Hawaii, and I was accompanied by my trusty Salt 1. I t did everything from cutting up pineapples to snorkeling, and no rust!!!!! Here is a pic from snorkeling on the Big Island:

As someone said earlier, I think a great number of Spydies in general can be put into this category, but for me, I have put a Paramilitary and an H1 Mariner through quite a bit, and no problems!!!

The Superhawk is great!! I think the "easy" curve on the blade makes it even more of an all-purpose knife than a "stronger" curve like the Tasman. I wonder if people like that more or less in a hawkbill??

Green with envy of that PE ATR :) I want one. Preferably the titanium version. How do you like yours?

I Love it !!! Mine is the SS version, the Ti one goes for a very pretty penny... It is very simple in design, works flawlessly (it's probably the smoothest opening Spydie I have), and great blade ...

Definitely the 3 for your needs. I would say the blade might be a bit thin for outdoors things like hacking through branches, but if you keep it scary sharp, It will be like a scalpel for that deer, the thinness might actually help - but I am certainly no expert on field dressing. I would get ...

I have a Charge TTI, and it comes with a pocket clip that I can clip it inside my LFP. To me, this is a great feature, as I don't usually like to carry on my belt. Im not sure if this a feature for the Surge, but that looks like one beast of a multitool!!

I just got a Superhawk, and I'm really liking it. I actually like how the curve radius is a bit smaller (or would that be larger??.. not as much curve), it seems to be the best of both worlds. It almost is like a wharncliffe tha curves down very slightly. I do have a SE Tasman that has been a ...

Thanx for the info, Deacon!!! Those kiwis are beautiful!!! Too bad Spyderco couldn't have etching as an option on all SS handle knives. I guess tho that the etching is done in Japan (I'm not sure...??) as the only three current etched models are produced there. That would make the "option" part a ...
