The sad thing is that ebay doesn't really care if they help sellers sell counterfeits at all.
I helped a knife designer fight with ebay. We sent them every type of proof imaginable. If you are not the big company itself contacting ebay, or a lawyer for the knife designer, you are out of luck.

It is difficult to get rid of these criminals.
A Spyderco rep must contact ebay.

I have been hunting fake Extrema Ratios and working with E.R. out of Italy to do it.
I spot them, I forward links and pics to a guy with Extrema Ratio in Italy and he confirms that they are fakes and formally complains ...

You could either re-anodise it or
polish it or
(whilst protecting the joints) glass bead blast it.

Or send it to me and buy yerself a new one :D

My Biggest Mistake

I sold my black Para PE. Biggest mistake ever! I started missing it as soon as I dropped it off at the post office :( I tried to make up for it by buying a new one right away, but the eBay sellers with the best prices are all out of stock.

Anyone else ever done something stupid like that?

It's ...

First Sighting of a Spyderco

It was the movie The Client based on the John Grisham book.
It was the edge of choice :spyder: for the bad guy (Anthony LaPaglia).
As I have now come to expect, it was brandished for a few seconds
(as though it was the star of that scene) in a terrifying way.
It was definitely designed to ...

Give Sal a break! How many other companies ask for input as
well as make small runs of semi-custom knives for their customers?
Keep it simple until the "direct limited-run" concept is smoothed out.
Don't ask for a tough steel when just getting the knife out to us is
almost too tough to make the ...
