Re: Bodacious Discussion

Wow, wow, wow!!!!

Why I love it so much is that it reminds me of a folding version of a boot knife that will be easier to carry and legal in more places

I will be buying several

Re: Trainers for Emerson opener knives

If you don't mind the lock being different and just want to practice 'waving' a knife, the Kershaw/Emerson E-Train trainer is impossible to beat for the price. They were less than 30 last time I looked The emerson opener can fail if you don’t master the deployment. Using a different design might no...

Re: Trainers for Emerson opener knives

I would hold out for used one rather then a pick pocket

The angles of the blade is different and opening from a draw would be slightly different

Re: Best Spyderco slicer 2022 edition

Is the chaparral really a better slicer then the centofante?

The delica is one of my favorite knives, but I never considered it an amazing slicer

Best Spyderco slicer 2022 edition

I see this hasn’t been asked in several years with all the new models that have been put out

But what are some of the best slicers from Spyderco? Is the centofante still reigning supreme?

Re: Looking for more info on the mini P'kal?

Thx Sal, i realise you keep the P'kal in the production line and sales aren't massive for such a specialised blade. I understand. I just wanted to see the difference between the regular P'kal and the mini version and what caused you to make a mini version? Is it knife laws regarding blade length or...

Re: Looking for more info on the mini P'kal?

I really hope this makes production The more I practice grappling in the gym, the more I realize that shorter blades allow you to move more effectively. Not only in deployment, but in transitioning from move to move Would love to hear Craig Douglas thoughts on this concept. Because his ecqc class in...

Re: Smaller P'kal

P’Kal= folder Reverse=fixed blade . Not sure if you were on TPI with Craig when Reverse was released but a lot of members modded the handle much shorter to make it more Clinch Pick-ish.I will see if I can find pic/link . I do remember that, but it’s not just the handle. It was the blade too…. in ad...

.
The reverse was way to crazy big for EDC carry or the tight clinch situations I previously mentioned

Re: Smaller P'kal

Hi Blue, Haven't spoken to Craig about it. He may have see the thread, but didn't comment tome. I'm pretty sure Mike saw the proto at the Blade Show. He doesn't miss much.We should probably reach out to Craig and get his thoughts? Hi Twinboys... P'Kal's are not big sellers. We keep them in the line...

Re: P'KAL vs ELVIA reverse edge edc review and comparison

The piercing ability is what made me fall in love with the P’kal During cut tests for self defense applications, I was surprised how many knives did shallow cuts or dulled quickly after a few cuts But with the P’kal just stab and rrrrriiiiiiippppppp!!! Every single time I love the sewing machine act...

Re: P'kal as EDC?

I absolutely love the P’kal. I just noticed in some grappling positions the large size makes it harder to deploy. Hopefully the lil P’kal makes production. If it doesn’t I hope Sal posts a pic of the prototype so I can have a custom knife maker cut mine down in size
