Anybody have any idea on what the price point might be on the bushcrafter? Also, are there any pictures of the sheath available? Will the sheath have a firesteel loop?

Sure, I use the knife at least every other day. I always have it, unless I lose it in the house and I go into instant panic. The edge is great, it is by far the best spyderco I have had. I was not sure about the black coating on the blade but I like it now. I have scratched it once due to a serious...

I was scanning through the online catalog, and came across the Barong... but, correct me if I'm wrong, is that not the Kukri that is pictured? It sure doesnt look like a Barong to me... looks like a Kukri. :eek:

Well, that's what I was thinking. There is no Spyderco that fills this niche, i.e. a small H1 blade. I think it would be a pretty good seller. :spyder:

I posted this on Bladeforums, and some of the ideas got me really thinking that this would be a good design. So, here's the thoughts... A small knife, about Dragonfly sized. Well, I love the Lava, so I'll have to say that. But! Having said that, I've been throwing the idea around in my mind of trying to pick up one of the Kiwi's, as a more 'dressy' type of knife. So, we'll see which I prefer once I have the Kiwi in-hand. :spyder:

In this case, the end-user is your brother (not you) ... described as a simple guy ... as yet not tuned in to high-performance knives. Presumably, this means he's not yet aware of high-end sharpening either. And outdoors plus edc is where the knife will see action. All these factors point to either...

Personally, I love my para, and wouldnt hesitate, at all, to use it as my primary outdoors blade. But, YMMV. :spyder:
