I have 2 (FRN SE & SS PE). The SS would be MUCH better if the clip was positioned for tip down (or reversible) so that when clipped IWB it sat low and with the rounded end up - as opposed to the current situation where it tends to poke into my..shall we say.."ample frame". A high mounted clip on the...

I had found him to be prompt and knowledgeable in his replies to my emails. He does not ship outside the US, so I was unable to actually buy anything through him.

There we some detailled threads on this topic some months back- including some authoritative posts from Sal - try doing searches for "Millitary" or similar.

Hope this helps.

Hi Ryan, We still follow a lot of nothern hemisphere Christmas traditions that don't make a whole lot of sense if looked at rationally :-) Including the big, fat, jolly man, sweating profusely in his red suit, large boots and beard - just like your Santa. I've spent a White Christmas in the US a few...

Hi Marc,

Welcome.

My personal preference is for tip-down.

I prefer 50/50 edge or plain edge, but do have a few Spyderedge serrated knives.

I really like the stainless steel body Spyderco's - think they feel more serious. durable, "up-market" etc.

It's ironic sometimes - the knives that get all the attention - I was working with a Doctor friend of mine one night - driving him between house calls - and got the "surely that can't be legal?" comment from him - regarding my Rescue to open a package - the knife descriped by Spyderco as the blade y...

kraziekurtis,

I recall feeling that the Dragonfly was too small and fiddly to open when I got mine a few years back - I got over that very quickly and now have a stainless plain edge as well as my original FRN Spyderedge - a great knife.

Hi Jeff, The reasons this is my most carried knife: (Not really in any order of importance) "Corporate"/"gentleman" appearance of the whole thing - inc blade size, s/s scales, clean design Size - not too unwieldy for use in public, big enough for any general duties I encounter. Stainless scales - ve...

Hi Jeff,

I love my Delica II Plain Edge - it has held an edge very well in the 3 years or so I've had it - I've not sharpened it as yet.

I've mainly used it an office environment - so the edge probably hasn't done mauch hard work.

Great knife - perfect size, weight etc
