Doesn't that void the antelope's warranty?

I carry my Delica most days as if something were to happen to it it'd be easy enough to replace, but I've been carrying the Stretch CF a lot lately too. But I rotate on an irregular basis, depending on what I happen to pick up on the way out of the house.

I usually carry a balisong with me too, so ...

Liner/framelock, you say? I may have to suck it up and buy one even though it's right-handed, then.

Or spend six times as much and wait a year and a half for Jens to make me a lefty version...

I'm psyched for the g-10 Delica. My D4 trades off EDC carry with my Stretch CF so it'd basically be the best of both worlds.

I've tried out a whole bunch of Cold Steel products and didn't like them that much, the once exception being the Arc Angel balisong (now discontinued).

What about the Ti-Lite appeals to you? We could probably direct you to something that hits the same sweet spots, only better (and probably cheaper ...

Rock Lobster Question

Does anybody know the specs for the upcoming Anso collab? Specifically, I'm wondering whether it'll be a locking-liner like his custom models or something different.

I am pretty liberal-minded about language, but you gotta use common sense. Nobody likes people swearin' around their kids. :)

There are quite a few models I can't really use, being a lefty. Just about anything with a liner lock or integral lock is out, because they're difficult (sometimes dangerous- I have a nice scar on the webbing between my middle and ring fingers due to a liner-lock mishap) to close. Left-handed liners ...

In my experience, you can get just as fine an edge on AUS-8 as any of the more "premium" steels. It doesn't seem to last as long as others, though.

As far as knives I've owned go, the edge-retention scale seems to be:

AUS-8 < VG-10 < 154CM < S30V

with D2 in the same ballpark as S30V if not better ...

Depends how big a knife you're looking for. The Millie is substantially larger. Personally I like the size of the Stretch just fine. I have big hands and its handle is still plenty big enough for me. It's also less terrifying if you have to open it in public.

ZDP isn't, in my experience, "harder ...
