Thanks for the FRN Stretch Sal!

Just wanted to thank Sal and the gang for what I think is the best overall folding knife I've ever owned. I was waiting a long time for this one to come out. The blade length, shape and steel are just right(vg-10) and the handle design is perfect for me. I haven't done any heavy cutting yet, but I w...

Yeah, those blades are to be respected. I lived in Spain for 5 months a few years ago and let my delica get real dull. Got used to eating everything with it, and not being careful enough. Came home and got it shaving sharp again on my sharpmaker first day. Went to a party, ate a meatball with it and...

Thanks again for all the input folks. Yeah, I could be wrong about the hollow grind. Looking at the two side by side think simply the fact that the Delica 3 has a smaller hole allows the grind to be longer, steeper and thinner, thus making it a better slicer. I can see the point(no pun intended) abo...

Caly 3 or Delica

I would go with the Caly 3 for self defense. Better yet get a Delica as this is the most common pocket knife in America now(would be a easier to reason you had it on you as a tool with a jury). Better yet, get a pink one. Orange handles look like tools too. It also rides higher in the pocket so it i...

I carry both all the time. Love the Caly for the flat ground blade and the leaf shape. Great slicer. I like the delica because I can let someone use it and not worry about it. I've carried delicas for years. Caly 3 is definately a big step up for me though. I have the CF zdp and it hold a fantastic ...

Anyone else love the Centofante 3?

I gotta say, the more I carry and use this knife, the more I love it. It is light, fits my hand just right, and has that perfect extra amount of blade and belly. I love how thin it is, which makes a great slicer and easy to sharpen. Just thought I'd give a shout out for this knife as I don't hear it...

The good news for those who prefer the construction of the Delica III is that it lives on, in the form of the Salt I. Aside from the slightly rounded tip and larger Spyderhole, it's pretty much a dead ringer for the D3. It is also totally rust proof. which might be an advantage for backpacking. Dea...

Delica 3 beats the Delica 4 for me

Hey there fellow Delica owners, I have had just about every variation of the Delica through the years and have to say there are some things I liked about the Delica III over the Delica 4. Just wondering if anyone else felt the same out there. Here are a few things I prefer from the previous model: 1...

i like the Tenacious "as is," and am excited about the arrival of the Persistence, but would like to see a fixed blade Tenacious. i think the size and shape are ideal for a fixed blade. it doesn't appear that it would be expensive to produce. i think it could be a great intro for those no...

I've got some nice spydies, but as a traveling musician, the frn byrd meadowlark fits the bill perfect for air travel. Never had a knife stolen, but if it was, it's only $15. And I think it's a pretty great knife for the $$- E

The Centofante 3 rocks. One of my favorites. Great skinner too, though I prefer fixed blades for safety and ease of cleaning- E
