My only CE spydie is my Manix - and that spyder edge portion does come in handy very frequently. I don't generally like or use serrations - but when you do need them, you really need them!

Hey, The Byrd Cara Cara with the G-10 handle is one of the most solid folders I've ever owned, and the lock is very strong... :spyder:

I've got a G10 Cara Cara - and a couple of full sized Manix - the Cara Cara is solid, but a far far cry from having the stout lockup that the Manix does. Doesn't ...

Of all of the Spydies I have, the Lava gets the most carry. Its small enough to be carried virtually unnoticed. If I know that I'll be doing a lot of cutting, I will throw a Manix in my other pocket. I'm loving the Lava though - its replaced my (blade tech) Mouse as my permanent EDC.

The loss of the Manix without an immediate replacement is not on my list of "good things that have happened." Hopefully the next giant leaf blade lockback isn't too far off...

Did you put a little oil on it and see if that helped at all?

I just got my 2nd Manix today, and it is smoother opening and less stiff than the one that I currently EDC. I've also noticed that my Manix gets a little "gritty" every few days - probably from the lint and what not in my pocket, so I ...

G10 Endura, Stretch 2, and Phoenix!

G10 Endura being at the top. I was hoping for a Manix sized Byrd, but I guess I'll have to keep dreaming for the time being!

I get strong sentimental attachment to my heavily used knives and tools. I've always bought new stuff for friends - never given away anything that I was "attached" to.

Maybe you should buy a new Millie or get your hands on a nice used one, and ask your friend to trade you for it, as you've still ...
