Re: FRN Worker ?

Dear Sal, I think I will be speaking for few other members here, or at least I hope so. I am member of this forums for very long time, not logging in and sharing my opinions often, rather rarely. Still, Spyderco is something like a family and part of my life, since few of your knives are always arou...

Re: Supernatural, Ghosts, Demons Thread

Very interesting topic and some really great posts here :) Past few years I was studying psychology at very prestigious University in my country and I was always trying to be more "realistic and reasonable" person, denying things that could not be explained by science or by highly educated approach....

Re: New Spyderco owner, help with sharpening, upkeep

Hi, I can only recomend spyderco SM as I was very proficient in use of benchstones but SM is easier to use and very helpful to keep good even edge for everyone regardless on their skills. For good instructional videos I recomend jdavis882 on youtube as I learned sharpening from this guys youtube cha...

Re: Starting over?

Hi, good topic actually as I am starting from scratch now. I had to sell my collection to be able to pay for school actually 2 times, to have something to eat (I remember times I was without food for whole week) and once to pay for surgery of my little sister. Sometimes live throws you something une...

Dear Divo, I guess you may be older than me (I´m very young person), I guess you think very high of yourself (sometimes good if you have right to do so) BUT you are not older than Sal, not wiser than him and you present here yourself as reall ignorant person. Sometimes I´m ashamed people like you ar...

My delica is well carried and used. I like this little fellow. It has been intensively used every day last year and half so blade is shorter than it used to be, knife was reground by hand after some major damage and scratched blade so there is no visible spyderco mark. Also it has some chips on FRN ...

I see your points about blade length to handle length ratio, and I've noticed that some of the Spydercos with the smallest handles have devout fans, so I take your point about overall handle design being more important than length alone. I think you've analyzed every aspect of this knife -- thanks ...

Very nice review! I think I'm moving the Delica up near the top of my want list... I'd like the super blue sprint or the BR green ZDP-189. About the washers: I'd read in an Amazon review that they had occasionally been left out or even assembled with two on one side and none on the other. I didn't ...

I had never seen one before looking up that broken-back sax, and now I can't help but agree about the similarity with the delica. I´m glad not to be the only one to see that ;) this is great utility shape, think I forgot to mention that I love using this kind of shape as plate knife. When cutting, ...

Nice review. Thanks for posting it. I was thinking about the convex edge today. Does anyone make and use a coarse convex edge or does everyone use a polished convex edge? Hi Brian (Donut)! I convexed edge and used it both - coarse and polished. Coarse edge was very agressive cutting but loosing edg...

John, many thanks :) :spyder: More reviews please! Nice pics, you hit on some good points. A tip: You use the phrase "my opinion," or "in my opinion," quite a bit; we're already reading your review because we're interested in your opinion, so you can go ahead and just cut those out. The Sax, or Seax...
