As for your original question. All Spyderco knives, regardless of where they're made are of excellent quality. Beyond that, it depends to some extent on what you value most in a knife. If you value pure "toughness" I'd suggest a Golden built :spyder: but personally I prefer the more "refined" fit ...

I haven't been on this forum very long, but I have been on long enough that I understand that most of you guys love these knives so much that you cant really figure out which one you want to carry as your EDC.
