A word of caution:

I just ordered a replacement clip for my CF Caly3 from the factory and it came with the associated screw (about $8ish incl usps). When I went to attach it to my knife, the NEW male screw was too short! Fortunately, I only needed the new clip and I just used the original screws ...

I got my CF Caly 3 this past Christmas along with the Sharpmaker. The wire clip, deep carry, and lightweight scales make it the perfect solution for me since I work in a white collar environment. It replaced my SS Wenger SAK that had ruined so many back pockets of my work pants ($$) from lack of a ...

I ordered my main christmas present from YCS: Caly 3 CF (plusa sharpmaker). Great prices, quick shipping in time for 'santa'. I intend to buy from him again.

Good luck

... its not an alignment issue, it simply gets way too tight for the last 3-5mm of travel into the sheath, like the end of the sheath is pressed up hard against the blade. As I said, I think it's a case of a bad sheath moulding or the knife has been ground just a little bit too thick or out of spec ...

How about... "NASAproof"

That would be the knife with a lanyard to keep it from floating away

I too have the Caspian with pointed tip and sometimes when I insert the knife into the sheath it doesn't fully line up with the button. However, just a wiggle and it 'pops' right into place.

As my wife would say "try a lighter touch" and see if it works for you. It did for me :D

Last year Santa Sal :spyder: missed my Dec 25th appointment with a new Caspian and I had to wait until early February (oh well, better late than never). :D

So this year I'm going with a tried-and-true favorite around these parts: CALY 3 in ZDP-189 with Carbon Fiber handle. A can't miss hit.

Happy ...

Sorry to hear about this.

I used my caspian all summer long and like the other poster, I got rust on the logo. Fortunately, it rubbed off the blade and the screws are still immaculate. I've made a total of 10 dives with it and have yet to rinse it off. NO RUST :D

Cheers,
Hector

I think it's a bit much to expect to leave any knife blade exposed to the elements without some rust. But then again, I haven't tried H-1 yet.

Sorry, but H1 is not impervious to rust. :(

Here's my Caspian after its first exposure to sea water.

I know of several other divers on ScubaBoard who've been looking forward to this for sometime.

Good news. :D

Caspian update??

Happy holidays to all from a first-time poster.

Just wondering about the status of this knife. Some online stores had posted they expected to receive their stock November 26th or so but everything has been quiet since then.

How's my wife supposed to surprise me Christmas morning if they don't ...
