Lum tanto fixed - red paper stone handle
Just saw on Facebook this is a sprint run soon to be released. Super excited. A work of beauty. Where is best place to pre-order? Any guesses to cost? Southard was what I was saving for, but that's now next on list!

yojimbo -- where in stock?
Any places besides ebay or direct from the spyderco store/website have the Yojimbo in stock?
I googled, and didn't find anything

new Lum tanto: sticky liner lock
Anyone else have a hard-to-disengage liner lock on their new Lum Tanto sprint? I can't close the knife one-handed -- have to use a second hand to release the lock-bar. I have several other spyderco knives with this locking mechanism, and none of them are this difficult to release. This knife is beau...

one more vote for Stretch
I have both. My vote would be for the Stretch in VG-10. It's cheaper than the other steels, and it's an amazing knife.

yellow frn
I have been wanting a spyderhawk for a long time, but the yellow frn is delaying the purchase. If it came in black or blue, I would have it in my pocket now. So, the Tasman will have to do for a while more

replacing clip on D2 Para
Hi Folks,
Love my D2 para gotten through the recent clearance at SFO. Wish that the knife rode lower in my back pocket. Am considering sending the knife to STR for a replacement clip, but was wondering if anyone has done something that I could try myself? Thanks for suggestions

waiting
+1 on stretch. I've checked this thread daily, many days multiple times. It is past ridiculous. Why, oh why, TK, are you dragging this out so? Negotiating pricing? Some sort of logistical problem in manufacturing? Waiting to see if prices on purple FRN will drop alongside mortgage rates? Conducting ...

TK, could you at least give us some idea of how much longer until the Forum knife is announced? Brings back memories of sleepless Christmas Eve's or the dread of going to the mailbox when college notices were being mailed.

sheath?
Was wondering what folks ordering the Swick sprints are doing for sheaths? Is there a source of ready made ones? A good tutorial for making sheaths? I have found step-by-step instructions for leather sheaths, but would prefer a harder material.

I REALLY want one too. I do wonder how the Rock Lobster will be at piercing -- the 'nose' of the knife seems like it would have limited ability to poke. I guess the advantages of sheepsfoot shape would be no tip to break off = more durable; no point to hurt someone in rescue type situations; better ...

caly 3, t-mag, tasman
These knives comprise my current EDC rotation. I just got the caly 3 after the coupon code opportunity -- been waiting on that for a long time. I am surprised that the T-mag feels best in hand. I like the carbon fiber, the extra width, and the shape of the handle very much; however, I HATE the magne...

wire clip for ATR?
Hi All, I love my ATR, but hate the clip -- hate it so much that it keeps me from carrying the knife. The clip is too big, and the size / style draws too much attention to itself, in my opinion. I've seen people mentioning folks that will customize knives -- any recommendations for someone that coul...

recs for knife shopping: Indianapolis & San Jose
I looked at the dealer locator on the Spyderco website for these cities, but thought I'd ask the collective wisdom of the forum for any tips on places to knife shop in San Jose (where we're visiting family for Christmas) and Indianapolis (where we live).
Thanks,
Gil
Thanks,
