I don't think there's anything wrong with discussing this matter. It's what forums are for, after all. I myself am a perfectionist, and so I've noticed as well uneven grinds on knives and such, but I've come to get over it, as it's not something that ultimately matters (I'm a very laid-back perfecti...

The PPT is definitely the best looking of the new models and I would love one, though I imagine it's going to be pretty expensive. And I'm probably in the minority here but I actually prefer the look of the old paramilitary, I like it's oddness and blade to handle ratio. The PPT looks like Ti with ...

I had one, it's a beautiful knife to look at, though I traded it cause... I wanted to experience new knives and had no money lol. I would LOVE to see a Ti framelock of the model, or a BBL. Liner locks I have nothing against, they're just rather... boring? I personally kinda dislike the aluminum with...

Mine clicked like that...Its the titanium sticking as the lock is designed to wedge itself between the stop pin and blade. Its should be fine. Titanium?? I... is there Ti in this knife? And, I've gotten the action to where it locks up fine, blade is smooth and fast without too much play, and there'...

to get alot of that crud out i usually use a q-tip, but pull a little bit of the cotton off the tip and then roll whats left on the stick between your fingers to tighten it up and run it through the middle. just make sure to leave enough cotton on it so it kinda scrub inside the handle. if i recall...

I'm exchanging emails now with the trader, and he, not being familiar with para's assumed they made that clicking sound when opening. Is he correct or am I correct in assuming they operate the same and as quietly as a linerlock? By turning the stop pin I can alter the amount of lockup and it making ...

If you received the knife in a trade, and are not satisfied with it, the sensible thing to do is to inform your trading partner and reverse the trade. I suppose... then I have to go to the trouble of finding another person to trade with... which just ends up costing me more money. But I guess that'...

No combination of tight or loose with the pivot and handle screws will get this knife to unlock easily without having blade play or being super tight to open... When I look at the compression lock with the blade out, it actually looks slightly bowed. Is this normal? It's not like a liner lock which ...

Does taking apart a knife to clean void the warranty?
I looked in the warranty link on this site and it didn't mention taking a knife apart. I just received a para-military in a trade, and while it does appear to have been carried only once and unused as stated, it seems to have attracted dust and such on the inside (extra oil on the blade was dirty as...
