Mr. Treat:

I have personally sprayed over 30 people with OC spray in combat situations (not in a controlled environment in a classroom).

If you'd like to share your personal experience that has led to your claim, I'd be happy to share my experiences that refute it.

Theory and practice are quite ...

Unfortunately, I don't have anything in file format. Basically, instead of putting the levels in order and emphasizing moving up and down the ladder...you instead tie the level of response to the actions of the subject.

It's simply a matter of where the emphasis is..."if bad guy is doing this, you ...

You should consider the issue of getting away from the "continuum" concept and simply refer to the options as a "level of response" or "level of control".

One problem that we have had in the courts is the idea that if use of force is taught as a "continuum", it suggests that one must go up and ...

The largest blade that I could open reliably while under attack.

The Guro.

Until Poppa Spydie gets it done, the Gunting will do.

Oh boy...trying to describe in words what I (or others here) could show you in about 3 seconds is going to be work.

My favorite (and for me, most secure) way of reversing grip is exactly what Bram shows in his Gunting tapes. Although not all ...

I agree that the black clip probably isn't going to look as "classy" as the black clip, but I seriously have at least 3 people a day say something like "that's a big knife!" when I have the Gunting clipped in my pocket.

The indentation in the spoon clip, as well as the matching dimple on the opposite side, allow you to quickly spin the Gunting from forward to reverse grip and back again by giving a secure index for your thumb and middle finger during the spin.

I've found that the width and shape of the clip also ...

I'll be ordering one the day they come out, but I have a question maybe Jody can answer....can the CRMIPT be opened just as effectively on Bram's nostril as the Gunting?

Let me know, okay? It's very important.

My Gunting is #675 so I must have just missed the black clips. Sigh.

Hopefully they'll be readily available to send to those of us who have been waiting for them.

Awesome news on the duty holster. I'm already trying to clear some strong-side ...

Black clips for Gunting yet?

...and if so, how can I get one? I'm also waiting impatiently for the CRIMPT. *tap tap tap tap*.

Hehe. Still getting lots of comments on the Gunting clipped to the sap pocket of my uniform pants. I'm hoping I can make room for a CRIMPT in a Skunkworks sheath on my duty belt.
